Video game developer Rockstar Games is reportedly pulling in at least half a billion dollars in revenue with Grand Theft Auto Online, the multiplayer component of GTA 5. According to former Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies’ $150 million lawsuit against Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive, GTA 5’s online multiplayer component known as Grand Theft Auto Online has generated “at least” $500 million in revenue from microtransactions. Of course, as many fans are probably aware, Grand Theft Auto Online is completely free, but it offers incentives to players who wish to accelerate their progress with the use of in-game purchases, which has reportedly been a great benefit to Rockstar’s and Take-Two’s bottom lines....

Persona 5 Strikers Is There Romance

Persona 5 Strikers is a direct sequel to Persona 5, taking place a couple of months after the events of the original game that released a few years ago on PlayStation consoles. What makes Strikers so different from Persona 5 however is the change to the battle system that the series is known for. Instead of a traditional turn-based system in which all members of the battle have to wait their turn to take action, Persona 5 Strikers takes on the form of a Musou-styled game, somewhat similar to the recent Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and other Warriors titles....

Persona 6 On Ps5 Can Fix Joker S Fatal Flaw

Through every triumph Persona 5 has as a JRPG, the game still has one underlying problem that other Persona titles have suffered as well. The “silent protagonist” trope is something that games have utilized for years, typically all for the same reason. Many games utilize Tabula Rasa so that players overall have an easier time placing themselves in the shoes of the main character. Characters are blank slates for this reason so that players can imagine and, in the case of Persona 5, dictate how they act accordingly....

Playstation Vita Won T Be The Same Without Its Digital Storefront

The PlayStation Vita is a hugely underrated handheld system. It was dealt a bad hand, not receiving the public support or development resources to help it shine beyond a few worthwhile exceptions. Gravity Rush, Soul Sacrifice, and Persona 4 Golden are all absolute bangers, yet were buried inside a platform that few people were interested in despite the excellence residing at its core. Even today, it remains the best way to play certain games, although this won’t be the case for much longer....
