The first trailer drops for the Ratchet & Clank movie, revealing that the film will have some significant diversions from its video game source material. Two years after the film’s first teaser trailer, the first full-length trailer for the Ratchet & Clank 2016 animated movie is now available. The trailer, which will be attached to screenings of this weekend’s Goosebumps film, details the plot of the upcoming movie, revealing some changes being made to the video game’s story in the process....

Last night, Razer released the Anzu glasses, the brand’s smart glasses with built-in speakers that play music through the user’s temples. The glasses also include a microphone and low latency audio Bluetooth along with touch controllers to change songs, control the volume, answer calls, and use the voice assistant. The glasses come in sizes small/medium or medium/large, in square or round frames, and with blue light or UV light protection. The Anzu smart glasses were released at a price of $199....

A new report suggests that Xbox One Project Scorpio can play 4K UWP PC games natively and that Project Scorpio dev kits will become the new default for developers. As many readers who frequent YouTube may know, the company has not always had the best or strongest relationship with one of its biggest creators: PewDiePie. However, the company made a surprising yet welcome move in early May when YouTube signed an exclusive live-streaming deal with him. Before this exclusivity deal with YouTube, PewDiePie, whose real name is Felix Kjellberg, was in another exclusive deal with the live-streaming platform DLive. Now, it seems that DLive may still be using Kjellberg’s likeness to advertise on the platform after his departure from the site....

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ developers are considering adding aim-assist functionality for console players should the multiplayer shooter enable cross-platform play in the future. Developer Bluehole has recently said that cross-play between PC and consoles is something, “We want to do down the road.” Yet Bluehole acknowledges the difficulty of creating a balanced competitive environment with the title’s cross-play, hence the debate over how to empower console players. According to Bluehole Executive Producer Chang Han Kim, who recently discussed the issue with VG24/7, balance will be what makes cross-play difficult to implement in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds....

Sony announces that all PlayStation 4 owners will be able to experience online multiplayer this weekend without needing a PlayStation Plus subscription. Hot off the heels of PlayStation’s best Black Friday ever, Sony has realized that now marks the perfect opportunity to convert more PS4 owners to being PlayStation Plus subscribers. In order to do this, they have announced that multiplayer functionality this coming weekend will be free to all PS4 owners, beginning Friday, December 11th at 12:01am Pacific and ending Sunday, December 13th at 11:59pm Pacific....

As the years have gone by, Pokémon’s development team has added new evolutions and forms for many Pokémon that never evolved. Halloween is about to take over the world of Pokémon GO as the mobile game has just announced plans for this year’s festivities. During this month-long event will be a Halloween-themed cup and a chance encounter with the Pokémon Shedinja. Starting in October, the Insect/Ghost-type Shedinja will be available to capture through the weekly Research Breakthrough. According to the game’s blog, there will also be a special Research day with Meowth, which can be the Kanto, Alola, or even Galar region versions....
