While most of the world is hunkering down in self-isolation, developer Enplex Games aims to help ease boredom and stress by giving away a total of 5,000 keys for their upcoming game Population Zero. The move is part of its #GamesVersusVirus initiative, giving players immediate access to the closed beta of the game and onward when after launching on May 5 of this year. Enplex will give away another 5,000 keys once the first batch has been sent out to winners, so players should head over to Gleam....

Last year, Ubisoft officially announced Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, bringing the classic game to modern consoles with updated graphics and quality of life improvements. The game was originally set to launch in January, serving as one of the first big game releases of the year, before its release date was pushed back to March. On July 7, PS Plus subscribers will be able to download not two, but three games due to its subscription. The third game comes as a gift in celebration of PS Plus’s 10-Year Anniversary, among other smaller items as well. Fortunately, the tech company dbrand will have them covered come 2021, announcing that swappable PS5 faceplates will begin to be sold next year. Known for its custom phone, laptop, and console skins, dbrand is preparing to expand its catalog with “OEM-grade faceplates” for the PlayStation 5....

A new teaser trailer for Season 10 of PUBG has released, showing off a dark new map. Last week, the official PUBG Twitter account announced its volcano-centered Paramo map would be going away after Season 9. Many liked the dynamic nature of the map, how it kept each match unique with different sites and lava flowing in different directions. Many are hoping the new map being teased will have a similarly unique feature....

PUBG Update 9.2 isn’t quite as game-changing as Update 9.1 – which brought a whole new map into the mix – but it does offer a new method of transportation, weapon balances, and a new form of battle pass. There are a bunch of smaller tweaks brought to PUBG in Update 9.2, but these three new features are likely to be the most exciting to current and returning players. After terrorist-busting shooter Rainbow Six: Patriots was cancelled, with its development team citing problems with current gen consoles, Rainbow Six Siege was born from its ashes. The game made a huge splash at E3 2014, where Ubisoft showed a group of Rainbow Six operators trying to rescue a woman who was being kept hostage by a group of other players. By and large, Siege had all of the things that Rainbow Six players had hoped for: teamwork, strategies and plenty of destruction, with Ubisoft keen to show off their new Realblast Destruction technology....

Rainbow Six Siege’s upcoming Operation is called Crimson Heist, according to an announcement on its official Twitter page. The brief message includes a short video, which seems to reveal a new character joining the roster later this year. “Getting the job done can sometimes require a more creative approach,” reads the post. It’s accompanied by a mysterious character shrouded in darkness, with only their glowing red glasses visible. You can also make out a bit of their attire – featuring a heavy jacket and a newsboy hat – along with the silhouette of palm trees in the background....
