In this week’s Red Dead Online update, bounty hunters are getting some extra incentives to go search out wanted criminals. Outlaw Pass Number 4 ends this week, and developer Rockstar Games is adding some more reasons for players to continue the grind toward Rank 100. Last week’s update awarded double XP and cash bonuses in Most Wanted, one of the PvP modes in Red Dead Online. This week bounty hunters will receive 2,000 XP for completed bounties, along with a few other additional bonuses over the next seven days....

The Red Dead Redemption 2 release date will not be before April 1, 2018, Take-Two has confirmed. The news comes just a day after developer Rockstar Games announced that the title has been delayed to spring 2018. During its recent quarterly financial briefing, Rockstar Games parent company Take-Two said that fans should not expect Red Dead Redemption 2 to be released until the 2019 financial year. The 2019 financial year does not begin until April 1, 2018, and therefore fans will be waiting until after April Fools’ Day to get their hands on the highly anticipated cowboy epic....

Paradox Development Studio and publisher Paradox Interactive recently announced a legion of new content for their classical world grand strategy game Imperator: Rome. The Heirs of Alexander content pack leads the phalanx of new content, with the 2.0 ‘Marius’ free major update following in tight formation. The Heirs of Alexander content pack is available now from the Paradox Store and Steam for just $9.99. It’ll be arriving at GOG, as well, but is still currently listed as ‘coming soon’....

One of the selling points of the PlayStation 3 over the Xbox 360 is that online multiplayer is free with the purchase of any game, unless picking up a used copy with an already redeemed online pass. However, Sony didn’t continue this policy with PlayStation 4 and online multiplayer requires PS Plus for PS4 titles moving forward. For most gamers, the paid subscription for online multiplayer is not an issue as Sony previously indicated half of PS4 owners subscribe to PS Plus....

Roselia and its evolution Roserade are two Pokémon that stood the test of time. They have simple-yet-appealing designs, and Roserade is decent in Pokémon GO. Budew is the baby version of these two, and is adorable. That’s about the best you can hope for from for a Baby Pokémon, as they’re not exactly killing machines on the battlefield. The second Pokémon Presents in as many weeks has come and gone and much to the dismay of Pokémon fans, it was nowhere near as action-packed as last week’s edition. Last week Pokémon staged a direct it dubbed Pokémon Presents. Despite the fact the show was less than 30 minutes long, it was jam-packed with exciting news and announcements. The addition of Mega Evolution and Galarian Farfetch’d to Pokémon GO, a game that encourages kids to brush their teeth, and best of all, the big reveal that Pokémon Snap is finally getting a sequel....

The Steel-Type was introduced to the Pokemon games with Generation II alongside the Dark-Type. It was a heavy-hitting new type that focused on the Defense stat but still suffered a weakness to Fire, Fighting, and Ground-Type. However, it was also resistant to Flying, Bug, Grass, Dragon, Psychic, Normal, Rock, Ghost, and Dark-Type moves (those last two resistances were removed in later generation games). It’s also completely unaffected by Poison-Type moves, and Fairy-Type moves were weak against Steel-Type too when the Fairy-Type was introduced with Generation VI....

Niantic is soon to be launching the Pokemon Go July Community Day event for 2020, with a host of new rewards to chase. The event starts at 11 am BST on July 19th, and trainers can expect to catch Gastly and its shiny forms, as well as complete a Special Research story. The Community Day event will last for 6 hours instead of the usual 3, as well as having an increased spawn rate for Gastly....
