Pokemon GO is canceling its PokeCoin-rewards test in all countries after analyzing collected data and feedback. Developer Niantic is reversing course after making some experimental changes to the way Pokemon GO trainers were able to earn PokeCoins. The majority of Pokemon GO players probably haven’t heard of the testing, and for good reason. Initially, the game was testing only in Australia. The Pokemon GO test was later rolled out to only a few additional countries, including Germany, New Zealand, and Taiwan, before being canceled altogether....

This week, Lawbreakers developer Boss Key Productions announced its latest project, a battle royale game called Radical Heights. Boss Key’s answer to the likes of Fortnite Battle Royale and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the game is being pitched as a free-to-play BR title that serves up a bold, bright, and bicycle-based 80s-inspired look. The game’s tagline also includes the phrase “cash is king,” but some players have raised pay-to-win concerns, as they are worried Boss Key is taking its promotional messaging a little too seriously....

Rage 2 is still several months away from launch, but there’s a lot of open world left to introduce players to before May. When Phasmophobia suddenly and unexpectedly blew up on Twitch, fans were enraptured by the simple yet compelling design of this cooperative ghost hunting game. While many took whatever chance they could get to praise the developer and support him in whatever ways they could, there was a common feeling that the game lacked in variety. Right now, you can’t play game streaming apps on iOS. That includes Google Stadia, NVidia’s GeForce Now, and Microsoft’s xCloud. Unfortunately, Apple has some petty rules that say anything you download on the App Store has to be approved by Apple, and playing unapproved games is apparently a violation of Apple’s terms of service. Developer Fumi Games’ upcoming shoot ‘em up Galaxi Taxi is promising to break the mold of regular yellow cabs, with enough powers to rival The Magic School Bus. Featured in a series of tweets from the developer, Galaxi Taxi looks like a sophisticated title made up of many genres. Its official marketing labels it as a “story-driven, action-adventure, shoot ‘em up, boss fight hybrid” - and it’s not wrong....
