With massive Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart billboards appearing around Glasgow, many have predicted a potential reveal at next week’s The Game Awards. The third-person shooter platform game, which has been developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PS5, is set for release in the first half of 2021. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, a continuation to Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus, will follow Ratchet and Clank as they travel across multiple worlds to stop an evil emperor from ending organic life in all universes via a dimensional collapse....

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is a bit of an outlier. We’re over half a year into the latest console generation, and there’s still a sense that we haven’t quite seen what these new machines are fully capable of. For one thing, there aren’t too many exclusives yet; most games are cross-gen still, with God of War 2 and Horizon Forbidden West confirmed as cross-gen as well. Cross-gen is something I broadly support, despite being lucky enough to own an Xbox Series S and a PS5, because it means more people can continue to enjoy the great games being released without the pressure of buying an expensive new console....

Spawn brought Mortal Kombat 11’s first Kombat Pack to an end, and while there has yet to be official world, it is highly expected that developer NetherRealm Studios will reveal another. It seems only like a matter of time, especially when the flood of rumors and leaks related to the potential content. Rockstar Games officially delays Red Dead Redemption 2 to 2018. The developer had initially announced by way of a trailer that the cowboy epic would release later in 2017. In a post on its official website today, Rockstar reveals that it has delayed Red Dead Redemption 2 until spring 2018. The company explains that as the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One game is the “first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware,” it feels that “some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans....

A Red Dead Redemption 2 film production crew keeps working on the game and suggests that the upcoming cowboy epic could be released in September, barring a potential delay announcement doesn’t come about due to said filming still occurring. Rockstar Games announced Red Dead Redemption 2 last year following years of anticipation. According to a local Montana news report, Rockstar Games is still conducting filming for Red Dead Redemption 2. Someone has managed to find a location used as reference in the new Call of Duty battle royale game Warzone and the similarities are uncanny. Reddit user u/lukegiant found the dive pool while visiting Chernobyl a few weeks ago and posted a side by side comparison. Chernobyl is an appropriate city to have found the landmark, considering the original Modern Warfare takes place in a fictionalized version of the city. Warzone is set in a similar fictional city, Verdansk, and the map borrows set pieces and locations from various Call of Duty games from the past....

Niantic is bringing back Pokémon GO’s Community Day vote, but with a few big changes. Players might remember that the last community-decided event, in which Rhyhorn won, drew criticism for the way votes were counted. Players needed to go to a PokéStop to get a quest, then complete the quest to have one vote counted. The issue was that the quests were randomized, preventing players from actually casting the vote they wanted....
