The new mobile battle royale from Krafton is yet to get a release date, although it’s expected to arrive before the end of 2021. Chadwick Boseman passed away on August 28th at the age of 43, following a private four-year battle with colon cancer. EA announces that three of its highly anticipated titles will appear first on the Xbox One exclusive EA Access, but each title will only appear a mere five days before the game’s official release. The term “console exclusivity” has become synonymous with sparking red faced, spit slinging arguments. While there are those that contend that console exclusive third party titles help foster competition between the various consoles, others argue that constraining third party titles to one console does nothing but drive potential players on other systems away and ultimately shrink sales....

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has had a major E3 2017 so far, with the title seeing the big reveal of its status as an Xbox One console exclusive. Now, fans of the current early access PC version the title can look forward to a brand new mode for the Battle Royale-esque game. As it turns out, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is going to be receiving a zombie mode. The game’s developers revealed the news on the title’s official Twitter, advising that at the moment there is no exact release date, but that the PvP game mode will be coming....

Sony’s Days of Play are officially making their triumphant return, but the content of this year’s Days were leaked ahead of its official announcement. Leaked promotional material from German retailers claimed that the Days of Play will begin May 25th and run till June 8th, and that PlayStation Plus subscriptions will be discounted by 30 percent. Sony confirmed these leaks days later with an official blog post announcing everything fans can expect from the Days of Play....

For the longest time, the PlayStation Store’s design served its purpose: games were easy to find and users rarely had to wade through a multitude of menus. However, as more content started to pour in, it became clear the current layout was just inefficient, as endless menus and slow-to-load tiles permeated the marketplace.
