The Pokemon Company has revealed the logo for the series’ upcoming 25th anniversary celebrations, which are due to take place in 2021. The Pokemon series started with Pokemon Red & Green on the original Game Boy, which were released in Japan on February 27, 1996. That date has since become known as Pokemon Day, and The Pokemon Company generally saves its biggest announcements of the year for the event. 2021 will mark the 25th anniversary of the Pokemon series and The Pokemon Company is gearing up for the celebrations and announcements that will take place next year....

When it was first announced, Pokemon GO trainers when nuts at the idea of Abra Community Day. The popular Gen 1 creature has one of the rarest and most coveted shiny versions in the mobile AR game, so the average player was very excited at the possibility of adding that to their collections. Unfortunately, the event had to be postponed due to coronavirus considerations. Finally, it seems like Niantic is almost ready to announce a new date for Pokemon GO’s Abra Community Day according to information in the latest datamine....

The new year is here, which means there are a load of new events, activities, and rewards coming to Pokemon GO. In addition to the New Year’s event in the mobile AR game, January 2021 is also bringing the usual new monthly cycle of Raid Bosses, Field Research breakthroughs, and some new tasks and rewards for trainers to track down on a daily basis. Players will likely be busy running around this month working through the tons of Pokemon GO events that are taking place - or battling the mysterious January Legendary Raid Boss - so there should be lots of playtime to complete daily tasks and work towards those research breakthroughs....

Now that raiding is a definitive part of the Pokemon GO experience, dedicated fans who participate daily may struggle from time to time with keeping their potion levels high. Thankfully, players on the game’s official subreddit have come up with a solution, even if it’s not an ideal fix just yet. After user StormHH analyzed a total of 26 Pokestops and came out of the experience with two normal Potions and one Super Potion, they decided to find another way of taking on raids while conserving their precious supplies....

Celebrating the addition of Mega Evolution in Pokemon GO, developer Niantic has released an overview of upcoming events in Pokemon GO over the month of September, including a lead up to a special Halloween Mega Gengar event, starting earlier than usual. Mega Pidgeot will be the first to unlock with raids, starting September 1st through 7th. Mega Houndoom follows shortly on September 11-17, and the Halloween Research Event for Mega Gengar starts a week later on September 22....

Pokemon GO fans are eagerly awaiting the first wave of Gen 4 creatures and the recent trailer has many members of the community thinking that the launch is right around the corner. The official Pokemon GO twitter account just added some more evidence to that speculation with a cryptic tweet. A leaked image from a French retailer appears to have confirmed Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will be the first game to get its own PS5 bundle.
