Sony announced in their most recent State of Play that IO Interactive’s Hitman trilogy will be entirely playable in VR. The trailer begins with the camera behind Agent 47 as he walks into a beautiful event hall. He walks up to a table and the camera closes in, showing the first-person camera angle with the opaque “PlayStation VR Mode Included” in the bottom left corner. The player then follows a man into an empty room and pulls out the infamous garrote....

Sony will be hosting its first State of Play presentation of 2021 on Thursday, February 25. The event will give players a look at upcoming PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games, though Sony stopped short of specifying which games will be on display. And while there has been one big so-called “leak” about what Sony has to show at the State of Play presentation, it is apparently fake. In a thread discussing the PlayStation State of Play presentation for February 25, ResetEra user Acquiescence claimed that they had heard the presentation lineup from “reliable sources” on Discord....

The Pokémon Company has just announced Pokémon: Battle Academy, a brand new board game based on the popular trading card game. Pokémon: Battle Academy is set to release in the US on June 21st 2020 at all Targets and Target websites and then worldwide on July 31st at all retailers that would regularly carry Pokémon trading cards. Although Pokemon GO’s latest update started rolling out yesterday for most players, there has been some major confusion about one of the new features introduced in the patch. The mayor of a small town in France has sent an official decree to Niantic requesting that they remove everything Pokemon GO related from within the town’s borders. Pokemon GO may be a global phenomenon the likes of which the mobile application world has never seen, but it’s still not everyone’s cup of tea. Niantic’s hit application has made over 200 million dollars in revenue during its inaugural month, but it has also evidently rustled a few feathers along the way....

After Pokemon GO Fest’s technical issues spoiled everybody’s summer weekend, developer Niantic vowed to make amends. As part of that, the company also promised to offer refunds to Pokemon GO fans who purchased a ticket to the Chicago, IL. event. Each new region in the Pokémon world gives us a new group of Gym Leaders that specialize in a special Pokémon type and have to be battled throughout the story of the game in order to get gym badges and other rewards in the games. Moon Stones are pretty different from the typical Water, Leaf, and Fire Stones. Rather than evolving mostly Pokemon of a single type, it can evolve between a range of Normal-types, Poison-types, Fairy-types, and Psychic-types. Of course, within that range are only six Pokemon out of the 898 total. Due to this, a lot of trainers look up what stone can evolve what Pokemon. Another odd quirk that separates it from other evolution stones is its relationship with the Moon Ball, a Pokeball that is more likely to catch Pokemon that evolves with a Moon Stone....
