Paramount has tasked writer/director Akiva Goldsman with adapting the Rainbow Six series into a feature film. The film currently has no cast attached, but Goldsman and his production house are said to be courting Ryan Reynolds for the lead role. While not much is known about the Rainbow Six film’s plot, Deadline has a few additional details to share. First and foremost, this is a Paramount production and Ubisoft currently has no involvement with the adaptation....

Electronics giant Razer is supporting PC gamers when it comes to one of this year’s most anticipated titles. The company has released a Cyberpunk 2077 edition of its Viper Ultimate wireless mouse, and it certainly delivers on the cyber-aesthetic front. Its design stays true to the game’s palette, showcasing a yellow body with turquoise notes in the wheel and Razer logo. Black highlights the device’s curves and adds overall definition; circuit lines within the clickers to give it that robotic aesthetic previously seen in protagonist V’s face....

A biology teacher from Cornwall has published a paper that reports that Red Dead Redemption 2 teaches its players natural history. As spotted by delete12345 on ResetEra, the teacher, who goes under the name SaiRookwood on Reddit, posted in the truegaming subreddit about the results of their study and how several members from the subreddit helped decide the results. According to SaiRookwood, the purpose of the study was to find out whether “the immersion afforded by RDR2’s detailed environment led to gamers inadvertently learning to identify some of the species portrayed in the game’s simulated ecosystems”....

Ever since Popcap was acquired by EA their focus has shifted away from simple yet well-crafted puzzle games and towards titles more befitting of their new owner’s largely detested business practices. Hence why Plants Vs. Zombies has transformed from a lovable tower defense game into a multiplayer third-person hero shooter. At this point, I’m surprised they haven’t figured out a way to turn Peggle into a battle royale. I still long for the good old days where this was just a game about planting sunflowers to fend off screen door-shielded zombies....

The Alola region is comprised of four games total between the originals and the sequels, similar to the number of islands on it. The main problems occurring in those games is that they actually contradict each other in terms of story. It essentially feels as if the story was remade some time between Sun and Moon and Ultra Sun and Moon, even though they were released nearly immediately one after another....

The original region setting for a Pokémon game, Kanto, holds a fond place in many people’s minds, serving as the first time many would be introduced to the Pokémon world and all the magic contained within it. The Isle of Armor DLC has a lot of new interesting mechanics and plot points; however, some of them are questionable because they lack logic.
