Leaking online a few days ago, the existence of a canceled GoldenEye 007 remaster meant to debut on Xbox Live Arcade was made public, with fans being treated to a 2-hour video showcasing the revamped classic’s campaign. Speaking to VGC, GoldenEye’s composer, Grant Kirkhope, claimed the remaster was dropped “because there were too many stakeholders,” with Microsoft, Nintendo, and EON unable to agree on terms. Today, the leaked GoldenEye build shown off through the video has reportedly made its way online, with VGC verifying that the planned Xbox Live Arcade release has begun circulating around the web....

Pokemon GO trainers had an interesting surprise last time when Lugia made an unexpected appearance in some Legendary Battle Raids. Players started noticing the pokemon hatch from level 5 eggs late yesterday evening and thought Niantic had a surprise Pokemon GO event in store for them. As it turns out, the reality was a little less exciting. It seems that Lugia’s return to Pokemon GO was simply a mistake. The level 5 spawns have since been adjusted and Lugia is once again removed from the Battle Raid list....

Detective Pikachu’s premiere is right around the corner, which means that cross-promotion for the feature film is officially underway. Pokemon GO players can now participate in the Detective Pikachu crossover event and earn some sweet rewards and encounters. In addition to that, there is a new shiny in the wild to collect as part of the celebration. The event coincides with the release of shiny Aipom, whose normal version can be spotted in the Detective Pikachu trailer....

As if Pokemon GO players don’t already have enough to do in the next few weeks of hatching 7km region eggs and battling Mewtwo in Battle Raids, there are now also some new shiny Pokemon to hunt down. With the kickoff of the Ultra Bonus reward event window, Niantic has released at least two new shiny monsters into the mobile AR game. Both Geodude and Grimer now have shiny versions in Pokemon GO....

Developer Niantic recently released a slew of new Generation 3 Pokemon into Pokemon GO and is now giving players a hand in capturing them for a limited time. To celebrate the newcomers, Pokemon GO is holding a small, in-game event, of sorts. Currently, every time a trainer hatches an egg, the egg will feature a Pokemon from the Hoenn region. This means players will have better chances of snagging some of those new Generation 3 Pokemon, but there’s no word on how long it will last....

Between its exciting lineup of games, innovative DualSense controller, and advanced next-gen features, the PlayStation 5 looks set to hit the ground running when it launches in November. The general expectation is that the PS5 will sell well throughout the next few years, but one analyst took it a step further by suggesting that Sony’s next console has the potential to effectively break all the sales records in the process....

The PlayStation community is pumped for the next generation of consoles. The PlayStation 5 will assuredly mean new games, a more powerful console, and hopefully for Sony, a continuance of its sales dominance. Since the original Ratchet and Clank game was remade for the PS4, long time fans have been eagerly awaiting the next adventure for the lone Lombax and his trusty robotic sidekick. After years of waiting, fans can finally look forward to the long-awaited sequel to the PS3 conclusion to the Ratchet and Clank Futures series, A Crack In Time, with A Rift Apart coming to the PS5 in 2021. While the series has a long history of making improvements on what came before, such as the lock-strafe controls introduced in Ratchet: Deadlocked that made combat much more fluid, this doesn’t mean that every change will be welcome to fans, as the games have had some missteps before....

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart has a pretty easy platinum trophy to obtain, although there are a few pesky accolades that require a little more work to obtain. Many of these are related to specific weapons, asking you to kill enemies in a certain way or make use of alternate firing methods that would otherwise go unexplored. Out of all the game’s trophies, Return Policy is arguably one of the most finicky, asking you to use a weapon in a certain way while also ensuring it is fully upgraded to wipe out foes in only a few short bursts....

Prior to the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, numerous stories surfaced about the crunch culture at Rockstar Games. Developers shared their own personal experience at the studio, claiming that the environment was anything but healthy. Rockstar tried to put out the PR fire as best it could by allowing developers to speak out on social media, but it didn’t seem to do any good.
