Rockstar Games is hoping that Red Dead Online will be able to reproduce the wild success of its Grand Theft Auto counterpart, which nets the company hundreds of millions in revenue. There, the servers are full of populated worlds filled to the brim with NPCs going about their daily lives when not being carjacked or robbed. Would-be cowboys who venture into the world of Red Dead Online on Xbox One this week, however, are met with a world much more devoid of life....

Only a few weeks ago, Red Dead Online received its Naturalist update which, aside from the usual patches and fixes, brought in a bunch of new features, including an additional role for players - the animal-loving Naturalist. Since then, Rockstar has continued to add on to the update, such as including new Legendary animals for players to hunt. This week, however, sees the inclusion of a mode that’s all about skill: the Hardcore Series....

Earlier this month, an anonymous leaker claimed that a remake or remaster of the original Red Dead Redemption was in the works, but given that they provided nothing as proof, it was mostly swept under the rug. Rightfully so, as if there is one thing that the rumor mill does, it’s play to the hypes of hopes of gamers across the industry. A Red Dead Redemption remaster is specifically one of those, as the ten-year-old game is a classic with a wildly successful sequel to boot....

For many years, the Resident Evil series has been synonymous with the survival horror genre. Placing players in horrible odds against nightmare creatures or aberrations with minimal supplies - and expecting them to escape. It really gets the adrenaline going. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will see the first official departure from survival horror (though some fans might argue the last two installments were more action-focused as well) into the realm of action for Resident Evil, and it wasn’t easy....

In 2008, two years into the PS3’s lifespan, Atlus released the critically-acclaimed JRPG Persona 4 for PlayStation 2. Last October, Ubisoft released Watch Dogs Legion, followed by Assassin’s Creed Valhalla several weeks later. Now, while both Ubisoft games have received mostly positive reviews from players and critics, it appears that there is a major save issue that is present in both Watch Dogs Legion and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The problem is said to be worse in Watch Dogs Legion, and in a thread on Ubisoft’s official forums for the game, players are reporting lost progress and corrupt save data....

A new round of PlayStation Plus titles has been revealed as February comes to an end and March approaches. And with the line-up, which may be the best set of PlayStation Plus games in some time, comes some important news. Sony revealed its tentative plans to end PlayStation 3 and PS Vita support in PlayStation Plus. Don’t panic just yet, though. Support won’t be ending until March 2019. What Sony means when it says PlayStation Plus support for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita will end in March 2019 is that no new games will be added for those platforms through the service....

Fire-types are some of the most powerful creatures in the Pokémon franchise but unfortunately, they just can’t hold up against Water-types.
