Peter Molyneux’s Twitter account is hacked, pronouncing his fake retirement and the closure of in-development title Godus. Social Media exploded after Peter Molyneux seemingly announced his retirement via Twitter this afternoon. With two tweets, Molyneux’s account stated that he would be taking down his in-development game Godus from Steam, then announced that he would be retiring from the games industry. Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios boss Hermen Hulst says he can’t wait for God of War Ragnarök, the sequel to 2018’s God of War. In a PlayStation Blog post, Hulst mentioned the game when asked which upcoming PlayStation title he was most excited about. “Playing God of War in 2018 was a great experience for me. That series has always had amazing action and combat, but the emotional depth Santa Monica brought to Kratos’ story as a father was very memorable – especially since my son was only a little bit older than Atreus when I played it,” Hulst said....

A new study carried out by a team of psychologists discovered that PlayStation owners had a collective IQ higher than that of Xbox owners. The report, compiled by Royal Panda, claimed “PlayStation gamers were found to be cognitively superior to their Xbox playing counterparts.” The study assessed the cognitive skills of 1,001 gamers, testing four key signs of intelligence – Verbal Intelligence, Mathematical Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Visual Reasoning. The generation 2 games and the Johto region brought with it many overhauls to the Pokémon series, particularly the addition of breeding, as well as the Dark and Steel-typing to keep Psychic-types in check. Over the years, these changes have been expanded upon even further with the Fairy-type and egg moves.
