Pokemon GO is doing everything it can to keep its players busy as the work fights the progression of coronavirus with social distancing and lockdowns, but some parts of the game just can’t be completed from inside the house. Recent changes to spawns, incense, and bonuses ensured that there is still plenty of motivation to login daily even if players can’t go out for Battle Raids, but certain events aren’t going to happen as long as social distancing precautions remain in place....

Pokemon GO rotates its top tier Battle Raid bosses in and out of the game pretty frequently from month to month as different events come and go, but February 2021’s Battle Raid rotation schedule is looking even more busy than usual. The excitement kicked off in late January as the first two-thirds of the Johto Beasts trio began appearing, but the excitement definitely continues throughout the coming weeks and will even bring some Mega Raids to keep the challenges coming....

Just a few months back when social distancing was a new phrase and group gatherings were being shut down for the first time, it was hard to imagine what Pokemon GO might look like this summer. Niantic had to make some quick changes to PoGO (and its other mobile AR games) in an attempt to make the experiences as play-at-home friendly as possible while the coronavirus threat stood in the way of meeting up with strangers in public places to play games together....

In just the past week, Niantic released the first post-Kanto Pokemon update, releasing seven baby Johto Pokemon into the world that can only be acquired through hatching eggs. On top of that, Niantic also added a special, and limited, festive Pikachu wearing a Santa hat into the game – as well as its festive evolution, Raichu wearing a Santa hat....

The Pokemon GO servers are down again, this time allegedly due to the efforts of hacker group PoodleCorp who used a DDoS attack to keep fans from their Pokemon adventure. If you’re one of Pokemon GO’s millions of active users, you’ll likely have noticed that the game’s servers have been under more pressure than usual lately, something that is courtesy of a recent DDoS attack. Due to Pokemon GO’s incredible popularity, the game’s servers have been in a constant state of instability, ever since the game’s initial release....

Introduced in the Sun and Moon generation, Wimpod is a Water and Bug-type Pokemon that starts off pretty weak but evolves into a strong member to have on your team. In Sword and Shield, they can be found in various locations. True to their Pokedex entries though, they are cowards and will need to be chased down or caught by surprise to battle and catch. However, it is all worth it in the end once your Wimpod evolves into a mighty Golisopod....

The law firm heading up the Dualsense drift case against PS5 has amended the filing to request a jury trial rather than arbitration. After months of Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers suffering from drift, and Xbox also being dragged into the mix, now the PS5’s Dualsense is being accused of the same thing. A class-action lawsuit was filed against PlayStation earlier this year, and now the law firm heading up the case against the console giant has made a significant amendment to the complaint....

As I was writing my last story, I heard my girlfriend curse from the other room. She never yells, so I asked what was wrong. I quickly found out that our new PS5 had just hard-crashed into an endless loop of flickering black screens - and refused to turn back on. We’d had no issues with the system up until today, and my girlfriend scrambled to figure out what happened....

PlayStation fans have a lot to be excited about with the release of the PS5. Not only will there be exciting exclusives for the upcoming console, but PSVR is going to run a lot smoother on the PS5. Last year, the PlayStation VR system was said to have made Sony $2 billion, selling 4.2 million units between 2016 and 2019. In addition, Sony claimed that there had been 21.9 million virtual reality games sold between the release of the device and August of 2018....

Developer Double Fine is celebrating its 20th anniversary and its first year as part of Xbox Game Studios. In celebration of this incredible milestone, the studio’s president and iconic game developer Tim Schafer has released new concept art for its upcoming game, Psychonauts 2. It is worth remembering that Psychonauts 2 has been in development for quite some time now, suffering from multiple delays, before Double Fine settled on a 2021 release window....

Publisher and developer Ubisoft officially reveals the name of Rainbow Six Siege’s Japan DLC as Operation Red Crow, while the forthcoming add-on’s operators leak. Earlier in the week, Rainbow Six Siege fans were given an idea of the theme for the tactical first-person shooter’s forthcoming Japanese DLC after Ubisoft tweeted a cryptic image depicting what then appeared to be a black raven on a crimson backdrop. Now, the publisher and developer has decided to reveal the expansion’s official name, with the company dubbing it “Operation Red Crow....

Ubisoft will be running a final open beta for upcoming multiplayer shooter Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. The beta begins November 25 and will end November 29. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is still on schedule for release on December 1, but that won’t stop the online multiplayer shooter from having one last Open Beta. Ubisoft will set loose the masses once more upon the servers, opening up Siege to all PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players between November 25 and November 29....

After your second trip to Savali, Emporer Nefarious traps Ratchet, Clank, and Kit in the Zordoom Prison on Viceron. Rivet returns to Viceron, a place she’s had some traumatizing experiences in, to rescue her new friends. This is the first full planet you’ll be able to play after unlocking the map upgrade, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble tracking down the collectibles here. There are two armor pieces, three gold bolts, and one spybot to find here....

Gamescom Opening Night Live is underway and it just gave us our first proper look at Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart for PS5. Back in June we got a sneak peek at Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart as part of the PS5 games showcase. The trailer showed off seamless transitions between different dimensions, each of them loading in a flash thanks to the power of PS5’s SSD. Developer Insomniac said at the time that this couldn’t have been done on previous generations of console hardware....

As if we haven’t been teased enough, the upcoming sequel set in the Final Fantasy XIII world will include a special pre-order bonus that will have a few loyal fans tearing their hair out. Lightning, the main protagonist in the original title, will star in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, which will conclude the story arc from the last two games. This time around however, she’ll be sporting some familiar duds....

Red Dead Redemption 2 boasts a large open world to explore with a variety of strange NPCs to get acquainted with. They all add their own brand of “wild” to the wild west, but one of the strangest and creepiest of the bunch is the serial killer known as Edmund Lowry Jr. The guy is the centerpiece to the American Dreams stranger mission, as he leaves extremely disturbing and gruesome murder scenes for Arthur Morgan or John Marston to find while uncovering pieces of a map that reveals Lowry’s location....
