Tabletop publisher Possible Worlds Games has announced a fun project in the works. Next month, it will kick-off a Kickstarter for a monthly subscription service for small tabletop RPG’s. This new service will allow backers to receive six TTRPGs over a six-month period with each covering a different genre. Tyler Crumrine, Possible Worlds Games owner, took to Twitter to detail the upcoming Kickstarter and give more information on what backers can expect....

While fighting game aficionados wait for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid to unveil an official launch date, the development team at nWay has decided to keep providing potential players with even more details about the title in the meantime. Today, the studio officially released a new gameplay trailer that highlights some 3v3 combat featuring the full starting roster, as well as the introduction of moves dubbed Megazord Ultras. As far as the full base roster for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is concerned, fans of Saban’s superhero franchise should expect to see the likes of Goldar, Ranger Slayer, Mastodon Sentry, Kat, Magna Defender, Gia, Jason, Tommy, and Lord Drakkon at launch....

The most recent Prey title was developed by Arkane Studios and drew inspiration from a wide variety of games and series, including others developed by Arkane themselves. Most notably, the new Prey included powerful abilities akin to the supernatural skills players can obtain in the Dishonored series, opening up a whole new set of possibilities. These powers are obtained in the game by researching the Typhon aliens and then spending neuromods to develop the traits....

Amid the massive breaking news regarding one of the gaming world’s longest awaited titles, Destiny 2, another fan favorite game enters the scene with an exciting update of its own. Today, Bethesda Softworks and Arkane Studios rolled out an all-new patch for the action-adventure game Prey. Update 1.2 scrubs away a number of issues, but what players will likely be most pleased to hear is that the patch fixes game and file save corruption issues on all platforms....

Death Stranding made the leap from PlayStation to PC on July 14, 2020, and almost a year later, it’s now up for grabs at 60% off on the Steam storefront. This title is from renowned storyteller Hideo Kojima who is known for the Metal Gear Solid series. While currently on sale, Death Stranding made Kojima Productions $27 million on PC last year, while Digital Bros expects it to make a staggering $59 million overall....

The advent of used games and used games retailers in recent years is a cause of concern for publishers and developers. Once a $60 retail game reaches the consumer, should they decide to trade-in the game for credit or other games to retailers like GameStop, the publisher receives nothing from this exchange or through secondary sale to consumers at reduced prices. Are used games good or bad? For consumers, the availability of alternative, lesser-expensive options is certainly good, as is the ability to earn something back from trading what they bought back in....

The Operation Shadow Legacy update adds Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell as a new operator for players to use in Rainbow Six Siege. Sam Fisher coming to Rainbow Six Siege is extremely exciting, but hardcore fans of Rainbow Six Siege will be excited to hear about the new gameplay features....

Released in 2018, Red Dead Redemption 2 is still a fan favorite that keeps fans coming back for more. With over 50 achievements to collect and around 80 missions: there’s plenty to keep players busy. From gunslinging adventures, Legendary animal hunts/kills to scavenger hunts across the impressive game map there’s enough to keep anyone returning to the fictitious Wild West. One of these missions is the Geology For Beginners. The mission is kicked off by talking to Frances Sinclair outside of his cabin (just west of Strawberry)....

Rockstar Games quietly releases the PlayStation 2 game Red Dead Revolver on the PlayStation Store for PS4, complete with enhanced visuals and trophy support. Last month, Red Dead Revolver was released on the PlayStation Store in the UK and Australia by mistake, with a higher price tag than most PS2 games on PS4 and no Platinum trophy. It was quickly pulled from the PS Store, but as of today, Red Dead Revolver is once again available to download on PlayStation 4 for those regions in addition to North America, with trophy support and enhanced visuals....

Red Faction receives a rating from the ESRB, leading fans of the shooter franchise to suspect that the title is going to see a re-release on the PS4 soon. Even though the Red Faction franchise started life out as a failed sequel to another shooter, the series gained some serious love when it was first released. Combining an interesting setting of future Mars with destructible environments, the franchise offered something unique for players at the time....

The transition from last-gen to current-gen over the course of the last six months has been unlike any other. Perhaps most notably is the decision by devs to offer free upgrades on games that span both generations, for the most part anyway. One of the few games that appears to have side-stepped this norm is Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2. Don’t panic if you own the deluxe edition of the game on PS4....

For all his visionary pursuits and grandiloquent gameplay promises, Peter Molyneux has a rather practical philosophy regarding the next-generation Xbox: He just wants it to play games, and play them well. The creator of Black & White and the Fable franchise left his position as Microsoft Game Studios Europe’s Creative Director in 2012 to run 22Cans, the developer of Curiosity, and since then he’s been an avid follower of Microsoft’s next-generation ambitions from the sidelines....

Popular YouTube content creator Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg has announced an exclusive partnership with blockchain-based livestreaming platform DLive. PewDiePie’s first steam on DLive will be Sunday, April 14th, at 10am PT. As part of PewDiePie’s DLive streaming partnership, he will be kicking things off with a SupportCreators stream where he donates up to $50,000 to 100 different DLive streamers. Presumably, this will help bring more users to the DLive streaming platform, but whether they will stay beyond Sunday is yet to be seen....

Phasmophobia was 2021’s surprise ghost hunting hit, but developer Kinetic Games isn’t done adding to it. In Phasmophobia’s latest update, you get two new ghosts, a new map, and the news that Kinetic is expanding. If you weren’t already aware, your favorite co-op scare nights in Phasmophobia were all thanks to one person over at Kinetic Games. In perhaps the least surprising news around the game - it turns out that keeping up with the demand is a ton of work....

After plenty of speculation last night, the Entertainment Software Association confirmed this morning that E3 2020 would be canceled. A huge blow to many that were looking forward to getting their games out there, it seems that not all hope is lost. Shortly after the confirmation of E3’s closure, Microsoft’s Phil Spencer (executive VP of gaming for Xbox) confirmed that the company will be holding some kind of digital event in the show’s absence....
