This Quantum Leap review contains spoilers. Quantum Leap Episode 1 Quantum Leap has leapt back onto the screen. The much-awaited sequel to the three-decades-old original series spent much of its first hour acclimating newbies to the time-traveling world of “putting right once went wrong” while keeping viewers hooked with a few fast-paced surprises and more than a few curiosities. The scene is set with a love story. A beautiful couple, newly engaged, celebrating with friends and colleagues, and so enamored that they plan to abandon their own party, post-haste, and go share a bottle of bourbon together under a pier....

Michel Ancel is incredibly busy right now working on Beyond Good and Evil 2, which was re-revealed at E3 2017. But despite having a lot on his plate at the moment the developer, who is best-known for creating the Rayman series, wants to return to the colorful platforming franchise. In a post on his official Instagram account, the famed Ubisoft developer explained that he recently came across a statue of Rayman in a second-hand store....

E3 is well underway this week, and we’ve already seen some amazing showcases from the likes of Square Enix, Microsoft, Bethesda, Devolver, and other less celebrated publishers. Since the launch of Red Dead Online at the end of last year, those that have been playing on PlayStation 4 have received numerous benefits, such as gaining early access to things like weapons and new Red Dead Online Showdown Modes. Now, it appears that Sony fans are about to see these benefits extended even further, as Rockstar has just announced that PlayStation Plus members will begin receiving “special awards” very soon....

The massive open world of Red Dead Redemption 2 is full of strange and dangerous people. A trip to the swamps at night will see players likely encounter the terrifying Night Folk, for example, and there have also been reports of ghost trains and UFOs. A new promo video showed the new line in full, showcasing additional merch for the upcoming title. Reebok’s reveal of its viking-themed shoe line was met with a few furrowed brows within the gaming community. Rocket League appears to be heading to Xbox One after a listing on the Taiwanese game rating board confirms that it has been rated for the Microsoft console. Car/soccer hybrid Rocket League has been one of the biggest surprises of the year. After being offered for free to PS4 players via PlayStation Plus’ Instant Game Collection, the game went viral and Rocket League managed to rack up 5 million downloads on PS4 and PC after just three weeks on sale....

Musou games are often characterized as laidback action games, mostly for emphasizing visual flair and excitement over systemic complexity. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a prime example of this: pure simplicity in action with plenty of visual flair to back it up. Combat’s never really challenging, as in this particular case, players are moreso interested in that origin story. However, Persona’s version of a Musou experience is drastically different in comparison....
