As soon as Niantic kicked off the Pokemon GO Halloween event earlier this week, players quickly hit the streets to capture the five new Generation 3 Pokemon, clearly excited about the opportunity to catch new creatures for the first time in several months. During that time, the developers also refreshed the game’s code to include up-to-date move sets and base catch rates for each of the new Pokemon. A user in the Pokemon GO fan community The Silph Road posted these statistics to Reddit shortly after they hit the game, giving players insight into how easily each Pokemon can be captured....

With Johto Festival Week in Pokemon GO, players see an increased spawn in second-generation Pokemon. Although there only a few days left to capitalize on this event, there is another bonus for those participating, as Ho-Oh has once again returned to the mobile ARG. In somewhat of a curveball, The Pokemon Company has announced not just one, but two new games set in Sinnoh. While we’ve all been expecting Diamond & Pearl remakes for quite some time - and have finally gotten official confirmation that they exist - I’m not sure anybody could have guessed that Game Freak would be taking us to Feudal Sinnoh ahead of Gen 9. The upcoming Project Scorpio could help the Xbox One outsell the PS4 this year, according to one analyst. The Sony console has consistently beaten its Microsoft-made rival in terms of sales ever since the PS4 and Xbox One launched and so this could be a huge turning point.
