Pokemon GO’s March Community Day is just about two weeks away, which means players have Treecko and its evolutions on the brain. The weekend of March 23 Pokemon GO players will have three hours to catch as many of the Gen 3 Grass-type creature as possible and expand their collection with shiny spawns, evolutions, and hopefully a few more surprises. The basic idea of Community Day is pretty simple: Go out and catch a ton of pokemon for three hours, but this time around things are different....

The holidays are starting early this year as Pokemon GO celebrates with its fans and friends by delivering not only one, but two Community Day events this November. Although the recurring event usually only occurs once per month, November will features two separate days, each of which will put the spotlight on a different Pokemon for players to track down throughout the day. In a press release on Wednesday, September 30, Renegade Game Studios announced that it’s developing a Power Rangers tabletop roleplaying game, compatible with the fifth edition OGL rules. With D20 in hand, players will be able to create their own Rangers and maybe even their own Zords. It’s set to hit the shelves in the summer of 2021, alongside several other new gaming treats. Renegade Games Studios was founded in 2014 by Scott Gaeta, and is well-known for making cute, fun-to-play tabletop games....

The long-awaited update to Predator: Hunting Grounds has arrived, bringing with it a new map, mode, and a host of cosmetics and bug fixes, but not everyone is happy. Bethesda releases a new trailer for Prey showing the same footage from Gamescom only this time being narrated by and from the perspective of a new female protagonist. After being just rumor and speculation earlier this year, fans finally got their first look at the newly rebooted shooter Prey during Bethesda’s E3 2016 showcase. The trailer introduced Morgan Yu, the subject of a series of experiments that seem to have increasingly negative effects on him through out the course of the footage....

One of the newly announced titles for the PS5 system, Quantum Error, released a gameplay trailer showing off the game’s horrifying aesthetic. Quantum Error is a game developed by a newly formed studio called TeamKill Media that is based out in Sheridan, Wyoming. The company was established in 2016, and its goal is to create “games for gamers” by having a significant emphasis on artistry, story, and immersive experiences. Quantum Error will be the second game developed by the studio after the release of its first title, Kings of Lorn: The Fall of Ebris, which released late last year for Steam and Ps4....

While there is still no word on either a price point or even an official release date, Sony’s PlayStation 5 languishes as rumors abound over a potential global staggered release schedule. The rumors suggest that the PS5 could debut in North America first this coming holiday season, then release in other parts of the world later in the year - whatever that means. The potential PS5 staggered release window comes via a recent trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War....

Railway Empire’s Japan DLC will be leaving the station on May 7 for Steam, the Epic Games Store, PS4, and the Xbox One. Unfortunately, Nintendo Switch players will be waiting a little longer as a release date for the platform is yet to be announced. The DLC is currently available for preorder at 17% off at $9.95 until the game’s official release on the publisher’s website. You can also pick up the game and its prior DLC for up to 67% during Steam’s Midweek Madness sale....

Rainbow Six Siege made its debut in December of 2015. Since then the game has shown itself to be a successful version of the games as a service model. UPDATE 7/10/2021: The rare copy of The Legend of Zeldo was finally sold for $870,000 as confirmed by Heritage Auction, eight times the starting price of $110,000. The auction house has not revealed the identity of the buyer. “The Legend of Zelda marks the beginning of one of the most important sagas in gaming; its historical significance can’t be understated … it is a true collector’s piece,” said Valarie McLeckie, Heritage’s video game specialist....

As the Coronavirus pandemic spreads, it has caused a shortage of crucial medical supplies in hotspots across the globe.
