As Quantum Break garners positive feedback, Remedy Entertainment Creative Director Sam Lake talks about adding multiplayer in the studio’s next title. Now that gamers have had a chance to get their mitts on Quantum Break, the time-bending Xbox One and PC title by Remedy Entertainment, the studio now faces questions regarding the future. It’s no secret that Quantum Break has had a great reception (read our review), leaving fans wondering about a potential sequel to the intellectual property, or where Remedy Entertainment might go next....

Rage 2 is set to launch early next week, and like most modern video game releases, it will have multiple editions for fans to choose from. Besides the base game of Rage 2, there will also be a Deluxe Edition as well as a Collector’s Edition, and as it turns out, those versions of the game will be the only way fans can get the BFG 9000 at launch. It was revealed last year that the BFG 9000 weapon from Doom would be in Rage 2, where it was confirmed to be part of the Rage 2 Deluxe and Collector’s Editions....

The first Rage was criticized for its relatively small scale compared to similar games on the market, but Rage 2 is looking to address those concerns head-on. Rage 2 is set to deliver a larger open world with more for players to do, though some may be concerned that this larger world will equate to a game with an obnoxiously large file size. Anyone worried about having to make room on their hard drives for Rage 2 should rest easy knowing that the file size is 30....

While fans of the Splinter Cell series wait for Ubisoft to finally make a new game, they have, at the very least, something to look forward to from Rainbow Six Siege, as it’s been confirmed this week that Sam Fisher is being added to Siege. But this is news that can be welcomed by fans of more than just Tom Clancy games, because, in a purely technical sense, this opens the door for a near-endless variety of hypothetical crossovers....

ReBoot was the first CG cartoon series that debuted in the 1990s. While we spent more of the episodes rooting for the good guys, Bob, and his friends, the enemies were still incredibly charismatic. Mainframe only had three primary villains: the game cube, which was a non-humanoid antagonist, Megabyte, and his sister Hexadecimal. Megabyte was pure evil and wanted strived to control the Sprites and city of Mainframe. Though the series focused on him fighting Bob, his sister also interested viewers....

One of the more unique spins on the Souls-like genre, Remnant: From the Ashes (which incidentally is apparently also influencing upcoming games in the same genre) also packs in more puzzle elements than its contemporaries. Sure, the Dark Souls series has its fair share of riddles and mysteries, but none are quite as involved as the bell puzzles you can find in this already difficult game. While you may be inclined to simply ignore or avoid them, the rewards you will find from solving these puzzles entirely worth your effort....

While it wasn’t the biggest surprise in the world, it was still nice to discover that the Initiative’s next game was indeed a Perfect Dark sequel. Normal-type Pokémon are a bit of an enigma. No Pokémon gains the Normal-typing when evolving, and it lost a ton of its Pokémon (Togekiss, Snubbull, and others) when the Fairy-types were introduced. As Pokémon evolve, they often lose their Normal-typing as well. Despite these traits, the Normal-type features a ton of iconic Pokémon such as Eevee and Meowth. Fairy-type Pokemon are known for being cute, spritelike, and often pink. But, their shiny forms aren’t always as appealing, as many of them are kind of hard to look at or at least a little disappointing. Some Fairy-types are great when, like Xerneas or Gardevoir, but others just don’t measure up.
