Going from a gritty, realistic, and deep strategic tone to a bright and colorful map full of balloons and candy is not something the hardcore player base was ready for. An organization devoted to offering treatment to those diagnosed with rare genetic disorders, Cure Rare Disease (CRD), has announced a forthcoming charity Fortnite tournament. The event, organized in collaboration with Massachusetts DECA, is set for September 5 with all proceeds benefiting CRD. While there is no fee for entry, there is a suggested donation of $10. The competition has a prize pool of $1,000 along with other prizes that have yet to be announced, with the format of the tournament being a solo competition....

At first, it seemed like Apex Legends was prepared to become the new powerhouse in the battle royale sphere. Without a doubt, one of the most popular features to be incorporated into the PC version of Bluehole Studio’s PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was the addition of a first-person mode, as it brought about a new layer of immersion into the game. Now, fans on Xbox One will be able to take part in the title’s First Person Perspective (FPP) mode thanks to a brand new patch from the developer. At the moment, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ FPP mode is only available to be played solo on Xbox One, with group servers likely to be added at some point in the future....

In Square Enix’s defense, a lot of 2020’s big games are getting discounts for the PlayStation sale. Persona 5 Royal, a definitive edition of a game some get very obsessed over, can also be grabbed at half-price....

Legendary Pokémon have been in the franchise since Generation 1, where they were seen in the form of Mewtwo and the Legendary birds. Most Legendary Pokémon are only seen a few times in the franchise, and a lot of them are thought to be exclusive to a single creature, meaning that there is only one version of each Legendary. Every generation of Pokémon seems to have more diverse routes and terrain. The early days, with Kanto and Johto, had mostly boring routes that all looked somewhat similar. During this final phase of the Throwback Celebration and the ticketed Special Research, trainers are going to have the chance to hatch Galar form Pokemon from 7km Eggs, battle them in Raids, and earn encounter rewards with them for working through the Special Research....

The most recent event for Pokemon GO has introduced every remaining shiny Pokemon from the Kanto region, making it the first Pokemon region to have every shiny Pokemon form in-game. Among the final additions for the region is Ditto, a pure Normal-type Pokemon. Ditto is known in both the mainline Pokemon games and in Pokemon GO for its ability to transform into any Pokemon it encounters. This can make it hard to find Ditto in the wild due to it normally appearing as a different Pokemon entirely....
