While fans of the classic survival-horror game Clock Tower may never get a new entry in the series, the next best thing is coming a little earlier than expected. Remothered: Broken Porcelain, which is essentially a spiritual successor to the Clock Tower series, has had its release date moved up by one week and is now launching on October 13 instead of October 20. EVP of Global Marketing at Modus Games, Shane Bierwith, offered a reasonable explanation as to why the decision was made to release Remothered: Broken Porcelain a week earlier than expected....

Lionhead Studios co-founder, and iconic frontman, Peter Molyneux is leaving the studio he started back in 1997 in order to start a new venture, 22 Cans. While development on the inevitable Fable 4 will surely be affected, the developer has agreed to stay on as a creative consultant for the studio’s Kinect/Fable mash-up Fable: The Journey - which, like many Lionhead games, has already enjoyed a lengthy development cycle. Over the years, especially after the success of the studio’s first console title, Fable, back in 2004, Molyneux has become a fan-favorite figurehead for the gaming industry - similar to the “celebrity” of similar designers like Cliff Bleszinski, Hideo Kojima, or Gabe Newell....

After collecting player feedback, Phoenix Labs has announced that solo hunts for Slayers in Dauntless will soon return in an upcoming patch. There was no firm date listed for the change, but the developer has stated that the goal is to have the patch live around the end of March. This is great news for players who prefer to venture onto islands hunts by themselves rather than with a group of friends or random players....

Recently, the Pokémon Company has announced that it would be giving players mystery gifts to prepare for the launch of the “Isle of Armor” DLC expansion. These gifts will be available to players until June 16 - the day before “Isle of Armor” is slated to drop. Such gifts include Galarian versions of familiar Pokémon. Bundled with these creatures are additional goods that players can use on their journeys, such as ball sets, evolutionary items, and items that can be exchanged for currency....
