While Rainbow Six Siege has firmly marketed itself as a multiplayer focused game, Ubisoft recently revealed that solo players will find a home as well. A traditional campaign isn’t on the table, but numerous missions will be available as Situations. At launch, eleven missions will be available, each designed around a different operator, allowing the player to not only get familiar with how to use the character specific abilities, but to also gain experience performing some necessary gameplay mechanics....

The design of the PlayStation has gone through some major changes since the release of Sony’s first console in 1994. Persona 5 Royal dataminer pan-hime has discovered another alternate scene from the game, this time one depicting Akechi’s third persona awakening. In order to be the very best in the world of Pokémon, trainers must be willing to travel across and between regions. Since his start in his hometown of Pallet Town, Ash Ketchum has been traveling all around the world as he captures new Pokémon and battles other trainers along the way. While his partner Pokémon, like Pikachu and Charizard, have done a fantastic job of keeping him company, Ash also welcomes his human friends to accompany him during his travels....

RPGs are probably second only to Metroidvania titles in the teasing-you-with-an-area-you-can’t-quite-get-to-yet-but-will-be-super-significant-later-on stakes. Pokémon Sun & Moon’s Ten Carat Hill is one great example of this, an intriguing place just off Route 1 that first requires aid from the player’s friendly Tauros to access. At this point, the player can only nab some of the valuable items and rare Pokémon that call Ten Carat Hill home. Later in the game, there’s an even greater haul to be found here....

The Pokémon series is home to tons of complexity and unexplained mechanics. From hidden values like Friendship to unexplained effects of certain moves, it can take a lot of time and research to learn just how everything works. This is especially true of abilities, passive effects introduced in Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire that can affect several things both in and out of battle. This is just as true in Pokémon Sword & Shield, as several abilities have been given new secondary effects while others remain unexplained in the games themselves....

Pokemon GO’s voter-selected June Community Day event is still a few weeks away, which means players have the adorable Pokemon Weedle and its shiny evolutions on the brain. The weekend of June 20, 2020 Pokemon GO players will have a handful of hours to catch as many of the Gen 1 Bug/Poison-type as possible and expand their collection with shiny spawns, evolutions, and hopefully a few more surprises. The basic idea of Pokemon GO Community Day is pretty simple: Go out (or possibly stay-in and use incense…) and catch a ton of pokemon for three hours, but this time around things are different....

During May, Pokemon GO announced that the mobile AR game is planning to expand its AR offerings with a list of new features throughout the coming year. In order to deliver the best possible experience on that front, trainers are going to have to help Niantic expand its understanding of their local surroundings and offer some new data that can be used to for 3D mapping of environments. To accomplish this AR feat, Pokemon GO players will soon by gaining access to Pokestop scanning....

February is coming to a close which means that it’s time for Pokemon GO trainers to start planning ahead for the events that will arrive in March 2019. As always, the month will feature a Community Day event and, as predicted by many rumors, this one is scheduled to feature the popular starter Treecko. Although some details about the Community Day will remain a mystery for a few more weeks, Niantic has confirmed the featured Pokemon and 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance bonuses....
