Rockstar Games is poised to release the long-awaited Red Dead Redemption 2 this Friday, though the online portion of the game won’t enter the beta stage until November. Today, the studio has confirmed one more release of content that hadn’t previously been talked about: a Red Dead Redemption 2 tie-in mobile application. The free mobile app will allow gamers to check out plenty of live in-game information, connecting to the the app user’s PlayStation 4 or Xbox One to provide some real-time supplementary info....

Last week, fans received a bittersweet announcement from Rockstar as the company finally announced a solid release date for its highly anticipated western. Unfortunately, the release date of October 26, 2018 also confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 had been once again delayed out of its expected Spring 2018 release window. The subscriber count war between PewDiePie and T-Series has seen both channels benefit greatly.
