Bethesda has announced that this year’s QuakeCon convention will be held on August 7-9. For the first time in the event’s 25 year history, QuakeCon will be held remotely through the comfort of the internet. Red Dead Online is having a special event this week, offering free resupplies for Traders and Moonshiners and triple rewards on Showdown Modes, alongside a bunch of other new bonuses and discounts. News of the event was shared via Rockstar’s website, where the developer has been strangely quiet on the subject of Red Dead Online in recent weeks. However, this event of resupplies and discounts will run throughout the entire week and 4th of July weekend, until Monday, July 6....
There’s no doubt that the relationship between players and their horses can go deep in Red Dead Redemption 2, and Rockstar Games has ensured that fans are given a wide variety of different breeds from which to choose. Felix Kjellberg, aka PewDiePie, will be branching out from his typical Let’s Plays starting next year on YouTube Red, in a series entitled ‘Scare PewDiePie.’ The news came following Google’s announcement that YouTube would be premiering a new, ad-free subscription-based service entitled YouTube Red. During the Microsoft E3 2019 press conference, it was revealed that Phantasy Star Online 2 would finally be released in the west, an announcement that comes seven years after the launch of PSO2 in Japan. While the reveal of the Phantasy Star Online 2 U.S. release confirmed that the title would indeed be coming to Xbox One and PC, there is now indication that the MMORPG will be headed to other platforms as well....
As far as virtual reality games go, Phantom: Covert Ops has one of the more unique premises. The game is essentially Metal Gear Solid in a kayak, complete with Solid Snake’s David Hayter providing some voice acting work, and it has been mostly well-received by the VR community.
