One of Circhester’s two Gym-leaders, Melony seems to have snuck into the hearts of many Pokémon fans. There are a couple of version exclusive gym leaders in this generation, and much like Bea in Stow-on-Side, Melony is the unanimous favourite of her gym. We don’t know much about her character, though that should change as the anime progresses. From what you see in the games she seems like a fairly kind-hearted trainer....
In-game trades have been a function in Pokémon games since Red & Blue, with them usually allowing the player access to rare or harder to obtain Pokémon. This isn’t always the case, as there are several in-game trades that are notoriously bad, such as the late-game Skitty trade in Ruby & Sapphire, but others are significantly better, such as the Machoke trade in Pokémon Yellow. Sword & Shield brings in-game trades back for another generation, with a mix of both great and mediocre trades available throughout the game....

Introduced in Gen 2, Natu has often been one of the earliest psychic types made available to the player; and for good reason. This little birdy might be cute, but has very little to offer players in the long run. With average stats that are a little too low to be called well-rounded even when evolved into Xatu, Natu won’t be making huge splashes in the competitive scene anytime soon....
Nessa is the Water-type gym leader that players will battle while playing through Pokémon Sword and Shield. She’s the second gym leader that players will encounter and has tough Pokémon, including a Gigantamax Drednaw. Fans will also encounter Nessa throughout later parts in the game, such as the Champion Cup when the protagonist will have a chance to rematch her. There are many things about Nessa that have little logic involved, and Gamefreak definitely left some plot holes in the personality and atmosphere of this character....

Projection: First Light may still be marked as a ‘coming soon’ release, however Limbo fans are already keen to visit another shadow realm. The puzzle-platformer was expected to release onto consoles last year, but the game is currently only available to play on Apple Arcade and as an alpha demo. Projection follows shadow puppet girl Greta as she travels through various world locations in different time periods including Indonesia, China, Turkey, Greece and 19th century England....

Valve has good news for gamers who are interested in the PlayStation 5’s DualSense controller more than the console itself. As of this weekend, Steam now supports Sony’s new gamepad, allowing PC gamers to take advantage of its next-gen features from the comfort of their computers. This support comes courtesy of an update to the Steam client, which makes any game using the Steam Input API fully compatible with the DualSense by default, “no developer updates required,” according to Valve....
Episode Intermission is a standalone expansion that takes place during the events of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. While Intergrade pitches it as something you can jump into at any time from the main menu, it does assume knowledge of major plot moments and concludes with a final act that isn’t afraid to spoil the ending of its larger sibling. Knowing this, we would heartily recommend ensuring you have beaten the main game before jumping into Yuffie’s adventure, since it does include discussion of characters, events, and major revelations that are best left unsaid until you’ve experienced them for yourself....

Sisu may not be what’s expected by a large portion of the audience that sits down to watch Raya and the Last Dragon next month. A long serpentine creature of watery origin, the dragon in the movie’s title does not breathe fire or lay waste to cities. Rather she’s a protector, a martyr who according to legend saved the mythical land of Kumandra 500 years ago. And when heroic loner Raya resurrects Sisu in the present, the lead character, plus her young fans, will discover greater layers still....
