Essentially, Scarra was starting out his Teamfight Tactics stream when – only 10 minutes in – he was summoned by Pokimane. “Oh, I’ll be right back guys,” said a concerned Scarra, briefly abandoning his stream....

Sony details the PS4 system update 4.5, revealing that the upcoming software update will finally add external hard drive support to the console, along with custom wallpapers. When PS4 system update 4.0 went live several months ago, it added a variety of new features and tweaks such as HDR support, an improved Music section, and the ability to transfer data from one PS4 console to another. Although it has led to quite a few connection problems for PS4 users, earlier today Sony launched the much-anticipated 2.0 update for their latest home console. Quantic Dream - the Paris-based developer behind hit titles like Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human – has now opened a second studio in Montreal, Canada. Speaking with IGN, Quantic Dream’s founder, David Cage, explains that the decision to open the new studio is to help attract more top-class talent and to establish a publishing presence in North America. Quantic Dream announced back in 2020 that the studio would no longer be making PlayStation exclusive titles and that it was also going to start focusing on third-party publishing....

On March 26, 1989, the science-fiction TV series Quantum Leap debuted on NBC. For five years the show ran as a sort of Trojan horse amidst sci-fi shows of the time. While the show was billed as a time travel series following Sam Beckett “leaping” into other peoples lives to “put right what once went wrong,” the series functioned more as a dramatic anthology. Each week Sam would leap in and, besides his hologram guide Al (played by Dean Stockwell), the show rarely showcased its science fiction elements....

The transition from Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball Z came with some shocking revelations. One of the first and biggest surprises were Goku’s Superman-esque origins, changing him from a Journey to the West homage to one of the last surviving members of a warrior race known as the Saiyans. PlayStation Japan blundered today and unveiled that Bluepoint has been acquired by Sony, but it was officially - and intentionally - revealed that Housemarque is also joining the family of first-party studios. Insomniac, which was also recently acquired, gave them a warm welcome on Twitter. Sony purchased Insomniac for $229 million back in February of last year following the monumental success of Marvel’s Spider-Man. Since then, it has released both Miles Morales, the successor to that very title, as well as Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart....

Owning a ring light always seemed like a pipe dream to me. Historically, they’ve been wildly expensive whenever I’ve been curious enough to price out the possibility of purchasing one.
