With how relatively young Pokemon GO is, it has still managed to implement hundreds of Pokemon over the years the game has been running. There doesn’t seem to be any sign of stopping either, with generation six just starting to be added in. There are technically representatives from every current generation of Pokemon in Pokemon GO. This is, of course, due to the addition of the Alolan variants of certain Kanto Pokemon as well as the Galarian variants alongside their Galar evolutions....

Pokemon GO’s January Community Day is just a few hours away, which means the final details about the big event are now being confirmed. The Totodile-themed day will offer trainers the chance to stock up the water-type candy and hopefully catch at least a few shiny spawns. Fans of PvP Battles and Raids will also want to evolve a few Feraligatr within the special event window to earn an exclusive move....

After weeks of special tasks and tons of encounter rewards, the grand finale of Pokemon GO’s Throwback 2020 Celebration is almost here. As players wrap up the final pieces of the ongoing research storylines, it is time to start looking forward to the upcoming ticketed Special Research and the accompanying event. It seems that Pokemon GO has got a new shiny Pokemon available to catch right now, although its addition is likely a mistake on developer Niantic’s part. Now that the last of the three legendary birds, Zapdos, is finally available to catch in large-scale raid battles, players have noticed that the creature’s appearance more closely resembles the Electric-Type’s shiny variant than its normal color palette. Although shiny Pokemon are intended to be extremely rare encounters, every Zapdos in Pokemon GO currently seems to look very similar to the mythical creature’s shiny version....

Pokemon GO’s third and final Free Weekly Challenge leading up to GO Fest 2020 is about to arrive. The final week of challenges starts Friday at 8am local time and after two difficult weeks of skill-based and battle-themed challenges, a week of exchanging gifts with friends with playing with buddies definitely feels like a nice way to unwind. This week the focus is all on Friendship tasks, which means that Pokemon GO players are going to be doing a lot of sending gifts, walking and playing with their buddies, and earning hearts with their companion Pokemon along the way… A whole lot of hearts as a matter of fact....

When Project Cars initially released, racing fans found an absolute gem of a game. The title earned itself fantastic reviews for its authentic-feeling racing sim gameplay, but it turns out that developer Slightly Mad Studios may have never been around to make the game - at least according to CEO Ian Bell. In a very candid interview, Bell talked at length about the Project Cars studio’s history. Slightly Mad had earned itself plaudits for work on the Need for Speed: Shift games, and so often questions have been asked as to exactly why a third game in the series was never released....

It has been almost two weeks since Sony revealed that a new Spider-Man game is coming to PS5 before the end of 2020: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Even though it has been almost two weeks, and Insomniac has been scarce when it comes to revealing details, that hasn’t stopped fans from talking about it non-stop. Brendan Greene, the creator of PUBG, is stepping down from his role as Creative Director and handing the reins to Dave Curd, the former Art Director at Raven Software and Shiver Entertainment. Curd has been with PUBG for several years and sees plenty of ways in which he can grow and evolve the game in his new position. However, he doesn’t want to “make a diet Fortnite or a low-cal Warzone,” and will instead focus on making it “easier for novices to transition to veterans, and honor what really works about PUBG....

When players think of Rainbox Six, they automatically think of Siege. So much so that the franchise’s name ‘Rainbow Six’ is immediately attributed to the competitive tactical FPS game. When ‘R6’ is mentioned, automatically, Siege is the game being referred to. There are a plethora of other games in the Rainbow Six franchise that aren’t Siege; such as Rogue Spear, Vegas, and Lockdown. The franchise goes way back with the earliest Rainbow Six game being released in 1998....

While fans continue to wait for Ubisoft to bring back the fan favorite Splinter Cell series, the French company seems content in keeping protagonist Sam Fisher around for cameos. Recently, the series has been featured as post-launch content for both Ghost Recon Wildlands as well as Breakpoint. Fisher’s iconic night vision tri-goggles could also be found inside of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as a cleverly placed Easter egg. According to a new report, it looks like the next stop for the Splinter Cell franchise isn’t a new game, but as another crossover with another major Ubisoft franchise, Rainbow Six Siege....

Ubisoft announces the first content update for Rainbow Six Siege Year 2, Operation Velvet Shell, is arriving next week along with a free play weekend starting Thursday. Rainbow Six Siege has been a major bright spot for Ubisoft after originally launching back in December 2015. The game has proven to be a popular competitive shooter, managing to not only maintain its user base, but also to increase the player totals well after it originally hit store shelves....

Gaming peripheral company Razer announces plans to transition entirely to renewable energy sources across all of its global offices by the year 2025. Beyond shifting its offices to become more sustainable, Razer has also announced an “aggressive” plan to become completely carbon neutral by 2030. The gaming industry contributes a sizable amount of pollution annually. In fact, a recent study by Sony has found that game streaming has the largest carbon footprint, something that has rapidly become the norm for gamers over the past few years....

Although Red Dead Redemption 2 didn’t see the return of many of the wacky supporting cast found in its 2010 predecessor, Red Dead Online hasn’t been as strict with who can show up in its less canonical version of the game’s world. Bonnie, one of the main cast of the original game and a major player in John Marston’s quest to kill Bill Williamson, was resurrected as a quest giver in the online mode, while Irish’s stuttering associate Shaky shows up in the game too....

Red Notice will be writer-director Rawson Marshall Thurber’s third action film collaboration with his star of choice, Dwayne Johnson. Much like the allied invasion of Normandy in the waning days of World War 2, it seems that Relic Entertainment has surprised us all with incoming news of a new Company of Heroes game. Or at least, that’s what we figure they’re going to announce from the countdown timer that just appeared on Relic’s Twitch channel almost 20-hours ago. The countdown timer began on Relic’s channel yesterday by showing old WW2 footage next to a countdown....

The official explanation is that a high-altitude balloon used in research by the US Army Air Forces crashed into the desert, but ask any conspiracy theorist, and they’ll tell you what “really” happened. The story goes that it wasn’t a balloon that crashed into the desert at all, but rather, a UFO piloted by extraterrestrial beings. The upcoming horror game The Peterson Case subscribes to the latter theory....

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is almost here, as is the PlayStation 5 console that the game will be launching on. To celebrate, one creative fan has completely redesigned the PS5’s DaulSense controller, matching the color theme of Spider-Man: Miles Morales and throwing in the character’s logo and the game’s slogan to boot. Most players will be collecting the trophies within Spider-Man: Miles Morales with a normal black and white DualSense, but Redditor Symbiote81062 will be completing the game’s many tasks using a specially designed controller of their own making....
