Rockstar Games, which first launched Red Dead Online, a multiplayer action-adventure game, as the online component of Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2019, is now marking down the game on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Epic Games Store, and Steam for $4.99 until February 15. The New York City-based developer, which was established as a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive in 1998, is also giving away a special bonus to gamers who have played the game between December 1 and February 15....

In almost all walks of life, when you buy something physically, you have the option to return it. Firewalk Studios’ first official release will be an entirely new multiplayer game exclusive to PS5. The studio is composed of veteran designers who worked on the Destiny series, although specific details about its upcoming title remain scarce. Firewalk was formed in 2018 and includes talent such as Tony Hsu – studio head, former senior VP of Destiny – Ryan Ellis – game director, former creative director at Bungie – and Elena Siegman – executive producer, who previously worked at Bungie, Irrational Games, and Harmonix....

Gym Leaders are the lifeblood of Pokemon. You could argue Pokemon are the lifeblood of Pokemon, but let’s hear me out first. When trainers get their first Pokémon starter, they’ll usually have an offensive move and a status move. Status moves are any moves that alter the other Pokémon (or their own!) and usually don’t cause physical damage. Some moves can be a combination of both. When picking a complete moveset for each Pokémon on their team, trainers are quick to forget status moves — and often, rightly so. Suicune may not be the most meta relevant of the Johto Beasts trio, but it is still a powerful Legendary and a popular Pokemon for PvP and some PvE matchups in Pokemon GO....

Gen 4 of Pokemon GO was filled with many top tier Pokemon that have become the go-to option for the many trainers tired of always using their Machamp, Slaking, or Mewtwo. Of course, some additions were truly awful, but that’s to be expected. Pokemon GO players who use the official GO Plus accessory have been a bit frustrated since the big Gym update that the device isn’t able to collect items from those locations the same way it can from Pokestops. Thanks to the latest update, it sounds like that will no longer be a concern. This Pokemon GO fix comes as a bit of a surprise after Nintendo recently explained that the company wasn’t aware of any plans to update the GO Plus feature list at all....

Niantic details the latest update to Pokemon GO, which fixes distance tracking due to GPS drift, adds features to the Apple Watch app, and fixes some text in the game. Since its release this past summer, Pokemon GO has dominated the mobile gaming space, helping developer Niantic rake in hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.
