Red Dead Redemption 2 players may be getting some more big news, not long after the disappointing reveal that RDR2 is leaving Xbox Game Pass in September. A Twitter user and self-described “Rockstar enthusiast” known as @VideoTech_ took a dive into the July 28 Naturalist update files for Red Dead Redemption 2 and discovered a “new mention” that wasn’t present in the Moonshiner DLC. The text referenced Director Mode and blocked Jack Marston in this mode, leading the Twitter user to believe that Director Mode will be “likely” coming, but without Marston as a playable character....

Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to provide memorable moments, as one new clip shared by players showcases something extremely random. Somehow, a Red Dead 2 fan managed to fire an explosive round from a Cattleman Revolver. Something that may have been useful during one player’s failed hostage rescue in Red Dead Redemption 2, the ultra-powered revolver looks like any other Cattleman that can be seen in the game. When the player fires the weapon through Dead Eye, though, there is clearly something defective about their revolver....

Expectations are high for the upcoming launch of the PlayStation 5, but the truth of the matter has always been that a console’s launch is typically a poor indicator of its future success. And so an era officially comes to an end. The PlayStation Studios website has removed Japan Studio from its list of collaborators, replacing it with Team Asobi – the team behind Astro’s Playroom.
