For the longest time, Bug-type Pokémon had it rough compared to many others, with little in the way of offensive moves and the majority of them having lackluster stats compared to just about every Pokémon in the series. For the most part, while Bug-types haven’t risen to the heights of Dragon, Psychic, or Fairy-type Pokémon, they are much more powerful than they used to be. One of the better additions to the series in the Galar region was Centiskorch, and by extension, Sizzlipede, the Fire/Bug-type that only shares that type combination with Volcarona, a Pokémon that has been one of the better Fire and Bug-types since Black & White....

There were so many Pokémon cut from the series with Sword & Shield’s release and “Dexit” that it can be hard to remember all the missing ‘mons, unless they’re your favorite. One of the generations that actually didn’t get hit too hard is Generation VI, which has a ton of representation in the base game. Some notable representatives are Pangoro, Malamar, Heliolisk, and Goodra. Unfortunately, not all of Kalos made it into Galar, with a few still being held at the theoretical border....

Ever since their introduction back in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, Bidoof has been a love and hate thing with Pokemon fans. It’s an incredibly weak Pokemon stats-wise that has that early game syndrome issue. Early game syndrome here is referring to Pokemon that one can get by using for battles at the beginning of the playthrough, but stop being useful as the harder battles arrive. The reason Bidoof became such a big meme is that he ironically doesn’t ever stop being useless but not in the way you might be assuming....
