Exciting news has arrived for fans of Pokémon Journeys: The Series. Serebii.net reports that the next set of episodes will be released on September 11 to the U.S. version of Netflix. As the eighth show in the Pokemon canon, Pokémon Journeys: The Series is a continuation of Ash Ketchum’s story and sees him journeying through all the familiar lands fans have come to know and love, including regions featured in the latest games: Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield....

A changelog for PS4 audio middleware reveals that the latest update for Sony’s powerhouse console will give developers more to work with. The information surfaced sometime Friday night, when a user on the Beyond3D forum noted a message within the changelog that stated Sony was allowing access to a “newly unlocked 7th core” within the PS4. The PS4 had previously been much more focused on GPU power rather than CPU, a focus that limited the performance of a number of its cross-platform titles and gave a distinct edge to the Xbox One in that regard, one of the few advantages the Xbox One had over the PS4’s hardware specs....

PUBG Corporation has a new name after fully merging into Krafton Inc, which is responsible for games like Tera — an online MMO — and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. After being a subsidiary studio under Krafton, PUBG Corporation is now fully under the umbrella of Krafton, and its new name is PUBG Studio. In a press release from earlier today, Krafton revealed the merge, and also announced that it consolidated two other mobile games studios into one....

Update 9.2 for the popular online multiplayer battle royale game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was released recently, and a few of the introduced changes have come together to create a perfect storm of potential carnage. First, a new vehicle, the single-seater dirt bike was introduced. This lightweight motorcycle has improved suspension for off-roading and great maneuverability to allow for hard turns while maintaining momentum. Then came the long-requested feature that would allow players to fire sidearms while driving vehicles in PUBG....
