The first ever mainline Pokémon DLC is coming out in a matter of weeks. Soon, Pokémon Sword & Shield players will be able to traverse the Isle of Armor. When, exactly? The Pokemon franchise assigns each of their titular Pokemon at least one classification category, or “type.” Many Pokemon have double types, especially as they evolve, and with 18 base types in the series, there are 171 unique ways these types can be combined. But oddly enough, not all these combinations have been used. Earlier this year, Pokemon GO switched things up for February Community Day by allowing trainers to place votes on who the featured Pokemon should be. A new designer Pokemon watch has one very expensive price tag. The timepiece follows the announcement of some more affordable Pokemon merchandise earlier in the week, as Squirtle was added to the Build-a-Bear line-up. The Tourbillon Pokemon watch has been created by RJ-Romain Jerome, a Swiss outfit that makes “high quality watches made from rare materials by master watchmakers.” Costing $285,000, this piece of flashy Pokemon merchandise certainly does not come cheap, but Romain Jerome is hoping that it has packed in enough fancy features to make that price tag worth it....

Barring another few delays, Blizzard should be releasing Diablo III within the next few months. Fans have been waiting over a decade for the successor of Diablo II to release and just like with StarCraft 2 and its expansions, they’re taking their sweet time to ensure quality control and the best possible balancing. The contents of the Diablo 3 collector’s set were unveiled back in October, revealing a rather impressive looking package which includes a skull of Diablo, alongside the standard set of contents found in similar special edition releases....
