Project Warlock is now on consoles, and this retro-inspired shooter does not disappoint. Clocking in at approximately five to six hours to beat, the game is chock full of chaotic action. Those who were not able to check out the late 2018 PC release should definitely give the console versions a try. Those who do jump into the action will immediately be hooked by the high action gameplay, the gratuitous violence, and endless waves of mobs just trying to find a way to destroy you....

Horizon Zero Dawn - Complete Edition Easily one of the biggest announcements to come out of the PlayStation 5 gameplay event was the reveal of Horizon 2: Forbidden West, which has now been confirmed for release sometime in 2021. Before the release of PlayStation 4, Guerrilla Games had been known for its Killzone franchise, PlayStation’s answer to Halo during the PS3 and Xbox 360 era. Killzone was met with reasonable success and had an audience, but it wasn’t until 2017’s Horizon Zero Dawn that Guerrilla Games were positioned as one of the best developers in Sony’s arsenal, proving it could not only make incredible games, it could entirely change genres and still come out swinging....

A well known fact about anticipation: it tends to loosen lips. Sony might not be hosting its momentous PlayStation 4 reveal until February 20th – the hardware manufacturer isn’t even attempting to downplay the inferences everyone seemed to draw from yesterday’s tease – but with excitement and speculation kicked into overdrive, those unsanctioned “sources close to the matter” are bound to be more… unceremonious. Some didn’t waste a minute. Citing “development sources with working knowledge” of both Sony and Microsoft’s next-generation consoles, a report from Edge today posits that the PlayStation 4 will be more powerful than the Xbox 720, that it will ship with a redesigned controller (which was alluded to in a report last week), and that it will be on shelves before Christmas in North America....

A leaked video shows off the new Rainbow Six Siege season four DLC map which is likely called Skyscraper, and gives a brief glimpse of one of the new operators. Rainbow Six Siege is hosting its competitive Pro League Finals later this month, airing on Twitch from August 25 to the 26. Alongside Rainbow Six Siege’s announcement of the event, however, the launch date for the next patch was also given as August 29. The new operation is dubbed “Operation Blood Orchid.” On August 29, it will go live on Rainbow Six Siege’s PC, PS4, and Xbox One servers. Alongside the patch will be “a new map, new customization items, and three new operators” according to Ubisoft....

One would be hard-pressed to talk about the greatest modern JRPG franchises without mentioning the absolute powerhouse that is the Persona series. Initially starting off as a spin-off from Shin Megami Tensei, the series ended up coming into its own with the release of Persona 3 — a game that is considered by many to be one of the most important titles in the franchise due to its groundbreaking integration of life simulation aspects along with the tight JRPG combat of the SMT series that we all know and love to this day....
