After years and years of Pikmin fans receiving the short end of the stick, the series has recently entered a bit of a renaissance. Not only was Pikmin 3 Deluxe the series’ biggest success yet, but fans now have a brand new spin-off to look forward to; Niantic, the immensely successful creator of Pokemon GO, is bringing the underrated little series into the augmented reality sphere. This app, planned to release later in 2021, is the start of a brand new collaboration between Nintendo and Niantic....

Pokemon GO was easily one of the most revolutionary games to hit the market (mobile, or otherwise) in recent history. It’s entire premise was quite literally a gamechanger, and invited Pokemon Trainers out into the real world to track down and befriend virtual Pokemon. Despite the massive popularity of Pokemon GO though, one thing has remained entirely static since the game’s release in 2016: the Pokemon Trainer Level cap. As of now, Pokemon Trainers can only achieve Level 40 in Niantic’s hit mobile game, but it seems that late November promises the change that Veteran Trainers across the globe have been waiting for....

The Overwatch League is still in its infancy, yet some of its players have already found themselves in hot water. The latest Overwatch League player to get himself in trouble is London Spitfire’s DPS specialist Park “Profit” Joon-yeong, who has been fined $1,000 after raising a middle finger to the camera during January 25 match against the San Francisco Shock. Shortly after the match aired, Joon-yeong apologized on social media, claiming that he didn’t realize he was actually being filmed at the time....

New figures released earlier today have revealed that the latest generation of consoles is on track to eclipse the sales achieved by the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. 44% more PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles have been sold than their predecessors managed at the same point in their lifespan. These numbers come from EA COO Peter Moore, who was speaking to investors as part of the company’s Q1 2016 earnings call....

Raji: An Ancient Epic was a surprise-release following last month’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase as a timed-exclusive for the Switch.
