There isn’t going to be a whole lot of games made for the PS5 when it launches on November 12, and that list just got a bit smaller. Destruction AllStars, the slightly zany Twisted Metal-inspired vehicular action game where you blow up a bunch of cars in a Rocket League-style arena, has been delayed into February of next year. The news comes from the official PlayStation blog with director of product development Pete Smith letting us all down as gently as he could....

Red Dead Online, Red Dead Redemption 2’s new multiplayer sandbox, is a world full of desperadoes and there are bound to be conflicts. While some players would prefer to spend their time peacefully fishing or roaming the prairies, others have ill-intentions, and Player vs. Player combat is commonplace in these early stages of the game’s beta. While Rockstar has implemented two systems, Parley and Feud, in an attempt to manage Red Dead Online’s PvP, seemingly rampant griefing is still preventing some players from enjoying their time in New Hanover and beyond....

Information about Red Dead Redemption 2 has been flooding out recently, as Rockstar has released a plethora of screenshots, gameplay details, and trailers. However, there is some information that hasn’t been released by the studio, and it has instead come from various leakers with insider info and early copies of the game. One such leak is the complete list of trophies featured in the game, which was recently released by a PSN Profiles user....

Developer Remedy Entertainment has seen great success with the universally praised Control, and has moved on to show indications of new projects in the works. Most recently, it was found that the studio also behind Alan Wake and Quantum Break may be developing two Epic Games exclusive titles. The news comes after Epic Games’ announcement that it would be starting a publishing company in Epic Games Publishing. Initially, it was said that Gen Studios, Remedy Entertainment, and Playdead had signed agreements with the label, indicating some high-production Epic Games exclusives may be headed our way....

Persona 5 Royal saw the inclusion and enhancement of a number of features in the critically acclaimed JRPG Persona 5, including new characters, battle mechanics, social activities, and plot. But one additional (and very interesting) feature that was added is the ability for the player to pet Morgana. That’s right - you can actually pet the cat in Persona 5 Royal. And we’re not just talking about in the game. Nope - you, the player, can actually pet Morgana yourself....

The Persona series has been ongoing since the release of the original Persona in 1996 for the PlayStation 1. It has gone over a lot of changes over the years including the addition of the Social Link mechanic. Because of this, it is clear that they will still be relevant in the upcoming Persona 6 while also being newly iterated upon. Ever since they were introduced, Social Links or Confidants have become a core part of the Persona series with it also likely being a part of Persona 6 as well....

Gamescom’s Opening Night Live may be over, but the game announcements are still coming. Following Gamescom’s main event and its major announcements, a number of smaller games have been getting their reveals during the post-show, including the reveal of Pharaoh: A New Era, a remake of the ancient Egyptian city-builder game Pharaoh. For the relative newcomers to city-builder games out there, the original version of Pharaoh was released in 1999, developed by Impressions Games....

Mario, Link and Zelda are not the only ones celebrating milestones, Pokemon has been gearing up for its 25th anniversary on Pokemon Day this February 27. Of course, The Pokemon Company is no stranger to special events, so this time it’s offering a one time chance for Pokemon Sword and Shield players to get their hands on a unique Pikachu. Since Sword and Shield launched, the games have offered players certain event Pokemon that are available for a limited time, such as Magearna, Rotom, Eevee and Pichu, as well as a bunch of gigantamax Pokemon available via max raid battles....

Pokemon GO players are in for a huge weekend. In addition to the Squirtle Community Day, the global community also managed to unlock the special Articuno Day reward tier. This means players will have three hours of special Articuno raids and a chance to claim five free Raid Passes. Although the concept sounds simple enough, things are never quite that easy in Pokemon GO. The initial press release was a little shy on details about how claiming the five free Raid Passes would work, but players have hounded the support team enough to get some answers....

With October entering its final stretch, Niantic is teasing what Pokemon Go has in store for November. The upcoming events are… pretty vague. Quite a few Pokemon are coming back with shiny potential, and there’s some quality-of-life stuff at the end. There’s nothing too groundbreaking after Halloween, but it seems like Niantic is saving up some fun announcements for the winter season. The blog post makes reference to “familiar faces” returning to raids in November....
