As aggrieved fans will know, Pokémon Sword & Shield arrived last year without a full roster of Pokémon in tow. The great National Dex cut was a heck of a controversial move on Game Freak’s part, with fans around the world airing their displeasure across the Internet. All the same, though, Sword & Shield did bring a variety of new critters to the table. The Dreepy line is one of the most notable new additions, having been tearing things up in the competitive scene since it’s the game’s launch despite its humble beginnings....

With Pokémon Sword & Shield recently releasing on the Nintendo Switch in 2019, some fans were less than impressed with the latest entry in the Pokémon franchise. Despite what fans may think of the Galar region, few Pokémon games will ever reach the level of disappointment that Pokémon X & Y did when they introduced the Kalos region in 2013. The Kalos region may have felt subpar, but it was home to some adorable critters fans fell in love with....

A talented Pokémon fan and baking extraordinaire has recreated the adorable Eevee pancake dish from the recently released Pokémon Café Mix. Twitter user @EverydayBewear recently posted some mouth-watering photos of their real-life recreation of the “Fluffy Eevee Pancakes” that can be found in the cover art and promotional images of Pokémon Café Mix. The dish features three fluffy pancakes stacked on top of each other, topped with a chocolate mousse cake that is decorated to look just like Eevee’s head....

In recent years the Pokémon series has been really liking the idea of giving some of their older and more well-known Pokémon redesigns. This was first done back in Pokémon Sun and Moon with the Alolan redesigns and was recently done again with the release of Pokémon Sword and Shield with the games Galarian Redesigns. Some of these designs were better done than others and some were just downright weird to look at, so let’s go over the best and the worst of the Galarian redesigns!...

Fans of all ages have flocked to this release en masse, as it is the first title in the franchise to see a home console release. The October 2020 Team GO Rocket Event is currently active in Pokemon GO. It will be running from October 12 at 1:00 p.m. PDT to October 19 at 10:00 p.m. PDT. This event has updated the Pokemon team composition of various Team GO Rocket members, as well as added various bonuses. One of the prominent new additions this event has brought to Pokemon GO is Strange Eggs. These eggs have bright red spots and require 12 kilometers of walking in order to hatch, but this hatch requirement is shortened to three kilometers during the active event period....

Pokemon Go Battle League Season 6 has begun, and Niantic has just announced a fresh bunch of details which set this season apart from everything that has come before. We’ve seen some unique leagues which require low-CP Pokemon in order to take part, but the upcoming Love Cup has to be the strangest yet. Pokemon GO trainers have a lot to take care of this weekend between finishing a brand new ticketed Special Research, helping to unlock Ultra rewards, and catching a ton of new Shiny Pokemon and hopefully adding some new Pokedex entries to their collection. That means there will likely be a lot of walking around happening and it’s a perfect time to hatch a ton of Eggs. As always, Pokemon GO Fest 2020 will feature some exciting different pools for the Eggs that players can receive in the game....

A brand new Pokemon has just been revealed for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon. Introducing Zeraora, a Mythical Pokemon with a starring role in the upcoming Pokemon the Movie: Everyone’s Story film. Plans to make Zeraora available in-game have yet to be revealed, but a distribution event for the Mythical Pokemon is expected to be announced soon and will likely be exclusive to Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon....

Police in Niagara Falls, NY apprehended a suspect alleged to be a prolific video game thief who has been terrorizing the city’s residents for months. The suspect, who has been nicknamed the “creeper” by locals, has been breaking into houses in the DeVeaux area of the city. Since December 2018, Niagara Falls residents living between the 2700-2900 blocks of McKoon Avenue say that a strange man has been coming into their homes, stealing their belongings and, in some cases, watching them in the middle of the night....

This POWER RANGERS BEAST MORPHERS review contains spoilers. It’s a shame this Power Rangers Beast Morphers episode is genuinely really solid except for one glaring issue. The guest character is a cop. The main plot follows the Rangers mistaking Chaku, a cop, for a bad guy. First off, I don’t see the difference in those two descriptions. Second, it continues a long history in media of cops being portrayed as the good guys, which as we’ve seen recently (but has been true forever), isn’t the case....

Not too long ago, Hasbro, Lionsgate, and the developer nWay revealed the forthcoming fighting game, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, with the project set to launch across PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One later this year. Following the title’s announcement, the aforementioned companies have confirmed that the release will support cross-play between PC, Switch, and Xbox One, but it looks as if the PS4 iteration will lack this feature....

Predator: Hunting Grounds excited a lot of fans of the franchise when it was announced, primarily because of its multiplayer aspects, and of course there was the opportunity to control a predator. Many noted that the game took inspiration and had the same developer as the video game adaption of Friday the 13th where players could embody another murderer and this excited and worried players. It seems that the developer, Illfonic, has improved in some areas but is now suffering from long queue times....

Quake Champions has been in closed beta since April, but now the game is finally set to enter its early access period. Beginning August 22nd, players can buy their way into the early access period for Quake Champions by purchasing the Champions Pack for $29.99, which is 25% off the final price of $39.99 when the game releases properly in 2018. The Champions Pack will grant access to all current and future playable characters added to the game....

Star Fox Adventure for the Nintendo GameCube, was one of Rare’s last projects. What you may not know however, is that it started off as Dinosaur Planet. Nintendo games archiver, Forest of Illusion has managed to get their hands on a disc of the game from a private collector in Sweden. Dinosaur Planet was originally meant to be published for the Nintendo 64. There was no intention of it being a Star Fox game, but after being scrapped by Rare, the leftovers from development essentially evolved into material for Star Fox Adventures....

The Scarstu Debris Field is the second planet Rivet will visit after rescuing clank of Sargossa. This is the smallest planet in the game and the home to Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart’s arena mode. You’ll make a total of three trip to Zurkie’s throughout the game, which lines up perfectly with the Arena’s three challenge tiers. There are three gold bolts, five armor pieces, and two spybots to collect here, but you won’t be able to get all of them on your first visit, or even second visit here....

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick offers his opinion of Microsoft’s Xbox Scorpio and the impending release of other upgraded gaming consoles, such as PlayStation Neo. With its competitors remaining secretive about their new consoles, it was a surprise to see Microsoft reveal so many details about Xbox Scorpio at E3. The system is set to be the most powerful console made to date when it launches in holiday 2017, and so it has understandably caught the attention of some of the industry’s biggest publishers....

Red Dead Redemption 2 released this week to nearly universal acclaim, with its presentation receiving particularly high marks. However, while it’s an undeniably pretty game, new reports suggest that what Rockstar claims to be High Dynamic Range (HDR) may not actually be true HDR at all. Eurogamer first reported that on all versions of the game, Red Dead Redemption 2 outputs what is essentially scaled-up Standard Dynamic Range (SDR), which doesn’t offer nearly the same contrast, color range or luminance of a genuine HDR image....

Red Dead Redemption is one of the most talked about games from the last generation of consoles. Often described as the ‘cowboy and western’ version of Grand Theft Auto, the open-world sandbox game (which was also developed by Rockstar Games, the same team behind GTA) starred a cowboy named John Marston as he fought, shot, looted, rode and (controversially) hunted his way around the USA and Mexico, trying to bring his old gang to justice and get on with living a crime-free life....

Arthur Morgan is the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption II and the player is able to get to know him better as the story progresses. Being evil reveals certain parts of his past, while being good can cause Arthur to speak about his regrets and what he wishes he had done different. By exploring the world, players can find notes and hear NPCs talk about Arthur and his activities in the world....
