A recent report from Kotaku suggests that indie game developers are becoming increasingly frustrated with PlayStation’s policies and what they suggest seems to be a general lack of support for the indie game industry. This report comes on the heels of indie game publisher Iain Garner’s recent Twitter tirade in which he spoke about working with PlayStation (identified in his tweets as “Platform X” or “the operator of a very successful console and does not have Games Pass”) and the ways he claims they ignore most indie games and indie developers....

With Pokémon Sword & Shield set to release in 2019 many people are wondering if the new Galar Region will be home to different forms of familiar pokémon. In the last generation’s Pokémon Sun & Moon, players were able to find and catch Alola forms of Kanto native pokémon that looked different and in some cases were a different type as well. If the new games do indeed have Galar forms then they’ll likely be the first-generation pokémon who didn’t get an Alola form....

Quake Champions is welcoming Ranger to its growing roster. Quake fans may remember Ranger as the original protagonist franchise’s genesis. Ranger will join Quake Champions wearing his recognizable yellow armor and thick metal Juggernaut helmet. His power in Quake Champions, as all characters in the game have their own unique power, channels a major plot point in the original Quake: teleportation. Ranger’s unique ability is named the Dire Orb, which he can shoot like any projectile and then teleport to the Dire Orb’s location....
