Re:Turn - One Way Trip is an upcoming horror indie boasting a retro, pixel art aesthetic. Based on classic Japanese horror films, it sees a young girl, Saki, go on an ostensibly ordinary camping trip with her friends. As with most horror, however, things quickly take a turn for the worst, and Saki somehow ends up on a dilapidated train stationed in a mysterious forest. But this is not as generically stereotypical as it might seem — the train itself exists in two alternate realities, or timelines, which directly affect one another, and is surrounded by massive, amphibious eyes, and a monster that looks a bit like the animated version of Bloodborne’s Cleric Beast....

By now, it’s obvious that Red Dead Redemption 2 is a massive open-world game, and it’s more than just “Grand Theft Auto with a horse.” Although many players have complained about how slow it takes to travel from one place to another with a horse, the game’s graphics are purely mesmerizing, and it captures the Old West’s ruthless world. Red Dead Redemption 2 needs more than 50-60 hours to beat without completing the optional storyline (the Stranger mission), even up to more than 120 hours to have 100% completion, but what if casual players tend to miss these ten side quests and activities?...

Ever since Rockstar Games announced Red Dead Redemption 2, PC players have begged the company to release the game on their platform of choice alongside the planned PS4 and Xbox One versions. Fans have gathered support in hugely popular petitions, they have posted thousands of messages on social media, and have produced plenty of videos demanding a PC release too. Love him or hate him, there’s no denying that PewDiePie is one of the most influential and popular YouTubers ever. His channel stands as the most-subscribed in all of YouTube, and while T-Series is breathing down his neck, it appears as though PewDiePie has enough support to keep the top spot for some time to come. Update July 29: It looks like the petition is going to cross over the 35,000 line sometime today. Twitch streamer Alinity Divine is no stranger when it comes to scandal and controversy, and currently, there is an online petition gaining steam for her to be banned from the platform for animal abuse against her cat. Recently, she received a temporary three-day ban in late May for accidentally showing pornographic content on her stream, though it was in many ways not her fault, and the decision by Twitch, in that case, is debatable as to whether it was a deserved ban or not....

Arguably one of the best horror games of 2020, Kinetic Games’ indie psychological horror title Phasmophobia has continued to implement new changes and bug fixes in 2021. Frontier has just released the huge free 1.3 update for Planet Zoo, as well as a brand new Australia themed DLC pack. As has been the pattern with previous DLC content, the pack contains five brand new animals as well as foliage native to the country and over 230 decor items inspired by its culture. It also brings a brand new timed challenge zoo that gives you a range of goals to meet within a specific time....

PlayStation has filed an interesting new patent that could potentially help players struggling through difficult sections of their favorite games. First discovered by SVG, this new patent is for technology that will affect the difficulty of an opponent based on how well or badly a certain player is performing. The AI will either get easier or more difficult depending on how skilled the player is. It seems like after the release of almost every FromSoftware title, that there are discussions surrounding how difficult video games should be, with some claiming all games should have accessible difficulty options and others claiming that the developers should not have to compromise their original visions....

The Pokémon series features 18 different types of Pokémon. However, one that tends to stand out particularly due to their rarity is the Dragon-type. Dragon-type Pokémon are known for their presence and their strength. They often appear near the end of a region’s Pokédex due to their legendary or pseudo-legendary status. Dragon-types became the favorite for late-game Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, or even Pokémon champions. Their reputation belies their performance in battle....

The long-running Pokémon franchise is often accused of playing too safe and resting on its laurels.
