While it was previously hinted that the next legendary raid for Pokémon GO was the Water-type Kyogre, players may now have more to go on; however, it may not be the news they were expecting. It seems that developer Niantic has decided that Kyogre may have been too OP and consequentially nerfed the legendary Pokémon. Last month, Kyogre received the 9% CP reduction that all legendaries seem to undergo. This change reduced Kyogre’s maximum CP from 4874 to 4074, which is comparable to its land-based counterpart Groudon, yet the change just made by the Pokémon GO team may have been entirely unexpected....

A Reddit poll has revealed which Pokemon League Champion players are most afraid to fight, with some stunning results. While several contenders have earned over a hundred votes each, one Champion ultimately wins the poll with a whopping 75% of the vote. Almost every mainline Pokemon game ends with the player facing the Champion, the highest-ranked Pokemon Trainer in their respective region’s Pokemon League. Given that players typically need to push through tricky back-to-back Elite Four battles before facing the Champion, players are likely afraid of losing to the Champion and having to start over....

Devolver Digital’s Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, is a massively multiplayer online party game best described as a free-for-all Mario Party meets Wipeout. The game is currently offering Gordan Freeman’s Headcrab as a cosmetic bonus for preordering the game. The game’s expected release date is August 4, but players who can’t wait to get their hands (or heads) on the cosmetic can preorder Fall Guys on Steam for $19.99. The game is also available on the PlayStation 4 as a console exclusive; however, the price is not yet listed on its PlayStation 4 store page, and thus far the deal only appears to be for Steam preorders....

Earlier this month, the Trump administration indicated that it was looking at banning the mega-popular social media app TikTok, citing concerns over user data being shared with the Chinese government. TikTok publicly denied that it is sharing user data with China, but nevertheless, Trump told reporters on Air Force One that he is potentially banning TikTok from the US as early as August 1. According to reports online, President Trump stated that he has the “authority” to ban TikTok if he so desires, through the use of an executive order....

Prey is not an easy game, even on its lowest difficulty. Big news for Sony and Chinese gamers today as the PlayStation 5 now has a release date in mainland China. According to Sony executives, the PS5 will get its Chinese debut in Q2, 2021. The news comes courtesy of Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad, a specialist in the Asian games industry. Ahmad shared a video of Sony Shanghai president Tatsuo Eguchi and vice-chairman Soeda Takehito giving a special Chinese New Year greeting that revealed the PS5’s release plans....

Although many people were excited when Remedy Entertainment’s upcoming title Quantum Break was announced to be coming to PC, Microsoft Executive Aaron Greenberg has confirmed that the game will not be coming to Steam. Whilst making an appearance on the latest Major Nelson podcast, Greenberg announced that the third-person action-adventure game would be available on Windows 10, exclusively on the Windows Store....
