With so many evolutions possible for Eevee, players have wondered how they can ensure that they end up with the new fairy-type evolution instead of another Umbreon. Well, according to some Japanese Pokemon Go players, players will have the option to choose which evolution their Eevee takes in the mobile game....

With it only being less than a week until the beginning of December, Niantic is preparing Pokemon GO for its final month of 2020. Niantic has previously confirmed that its brought back the stay-at-home incentives, which will run throughout the winter season and well into July 2021. And today, it has detailed what players can expect in terms of content once December hits. Some of it players already knew about, such as the GO Beyond Update which will increase the level cap from 40 to 50 (something that players have been clamoring for since the game first launched in 2016), but Niantic does lay out the month’s new Spotlight Hours, all of which will take place on Tuesdays at 6pm local time and focus on different ice-type Pokemon to match the winter season....

An exciting new Kickstarter project went live Tuesday morning for an ambitious indie game named Monster Sanctuary. Monster Sanctuary combines the exploration of a Metroidvania with the monster collection and battling concept behind Pokemon. According to Denis Sinner, who’s developing Monster Sanctuary with the support of his younger brother Anton, the hope is for the game to launch in 2020 with an Early Access version releasing in mid-2019. In Monster Sanctuary, players take on the role of the youngest member of the esteemed Monster Keepers....

Pokemon is a massive multimedia franchise, boasting successful video games, anime, merchandise sales, and more. One of the largest facets of Pokemon’s success is its trading card game, which released a board game called Pokemon TCG: Battle Academy last month and will be continuing its current Sword and Shield-based set releases with the Champion’s Path expansion on September 25, 2020. Red Dead Redemption 2 has introduced a variety of mechanics that make its world feel lived-in and dynamic. Among these are certain degradation systems where time and use gradually impacts the way the game works. For example, Red Dead Redemption 2’s horses lose stamina when they’re dirty, requiring the player to brush them on a regular basis. Weapons also experience gradual degradation. Firing a weapon will make them dirty, and exposure to water will make them rust....

It’s been revealed that Remedy Entertainment has yet another game in the works, although this one is in the “very early stages.” The developer recently made its first-quarter business review open to the public which contains comments made by Remedy CEO Tero Virtala. In the review, Virtala explains that pretty much all of the developers on Control have moved onto other projects, including a “new, exciting early-phase project.” Virtala then confirms that the game is separate from other previously announced projects in the works and that the project is in the “very, very early stages....

After a decade and some change, Persona 4 Golden players on PC can finally get their hands on the long-lost Yosuke romance. Cut from the original version of Persona 4, players eventually found a voiced line in which Yosuke confesses his affection for the player character hidden in the game’s files, but nothing came of it until now. Currently, a mod is in the works to fully restore that line, and create a full Yosuke romance....

Phil Spencer has officially confirmed that “some” new and upcoming Bethesda titles will be exclusive to Xbox consoles and PC. In a blog post published on Xbox Wire, Phil Spencer talks about the completion of Microsoft’s acquisition of ZeniMax Media and Bethesda Softworks. As a result, game studios like Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, Arkane, MachineGames, and Tango Gameworks are all now fully owned by Xbox along with the IP associated with said studios....
