The surly weapons dealer Munehisa Iwai runs the airsoft shop “Untouchable” in Shibuya. Joker visits him to purchase some weapons before The Phantom Thieves’ first big mission, but later strikes a deal when he realizes just how valuable Iwai’s partnership could be. Here is a spoiler-free guide on how to max out his confidant in Persona 5 Royal.

Availability

After 5/6 Joker can head to Untouchable to ask Iwai about the contents of a paper bag the latter previously gave to him. (Note that Joker will need Level 4 Guts [“Dauntless’] in order to ask Iwai.)

Iwai is available at nighttime on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. On rainy days, he is available during the daytime as well. Note that there are some events that cannot happen on rainy days.

While guns in the original Persona 5 were a little lackluster, Royal has completely overhauled their mechanics, making them extremely worthwhile to update and customize.

As with every confidant, having a persona of a corresponding arcana will increase the number of points you earn with them by one. The point increases with a Hanged Man persona on hand are indicated in brackets next to the regular increases as such:
