A recent survey by Famitsu revealed fans’ favorite characters, hopes for future sequels, and more regarding Atlus’ recent hack-and-slash game Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers.
The Famitsu poll gathered 2,991 responses in total over the course of May 16-19 to gauge fans’ reactions to the game.
One question asked fans who their favorite character was in the game. Zenkichi Hasegawa, a new character who is a police officer that later becomes the first adult member of the Phantom Thieves, won with 568 votes. He was followed by Sophia, another new P5S character, who is an AI girl who also joins the thieves. She accumulated 446 votes. The entire list is as follows:

Another question asked fans where they would like to see the Phantom Thieves travel next if there was ever another sequel to the game. The most popular answer was a request for the Thieves to travel “overseas,” with one participant even specifically suggesting “New York” as their next destination. Other respondents expressed desires for the Thieves to travel to locations from past Persona games, including Inaba from Persona 4. Another popular request was to finally see Joker’s home.
Like its parent game, Persona 5 Scramble also allows players to enter a romantic relationship with one of the female characters. Another question asked fans who they invited to ride the Ferris Wheel in Sapporo with. The most popular answer was Makoto Nijima, with 737 votes. It was followed by a joint “date” with Ryuji Sakomato and Yusuke Kitagawa with 725 votes. The full results are below:

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers was released in Japan on February 20 for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It will be released in South Korea and the rest of Asia on June 18. At the time of writing, there is no official word yet regarding a Western release.
