A recent tweet showcasing a billboard featuring the cover art for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers has confirmed the game will be released in South Korea on June 18. The game is set to utilize the original Japanese voice acting but will feature Korean subtitles.
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, the sequel to Atlus’ mega-hit Persona 5, is a hack-and-slash game that follows the Phantom Thieves six months after their adventures in the parent game. The sequel title was released in Japan back in February but has yet to see an international release.
The tweet in question, posted by Twitter user @Persona5SR, features a photo of an ad for the game, along with the date “6.18” at the bottom.
Sega also released a trailer for the Korean subtitled version of the game on their official YouTube channel:
While the game has been confirmed for a release outside of Japan, there is still no word regarding if and when it will come to the West.
Recently, Koei Tecmo (who worked with Atlus on Scramble) seemingly confirmed that the game would receive a localization, though nothing has been made official yet.
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers was released in Japan on February 20 for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It will be released in South Korea and the rest of Asia on June 18, 2020.
