Peugeot gets its mojo back with the 208. Good tech set-up, innovative new interior and a good-looking exterior are backed up by a brilliant diesel engine. We only wish it were a little more fun to drive and didn’t cost quite so much – a lower spec, petrol engine car may be a better bet for many users and could be worth an extra half star.
