A new trailer for PGA Tour 2K21 offers a detailed look at the new career mode. Although PGA Tour 2K21 has not been confirmed for next-generation consoles, it will still release on all major consoles available now. There are a ton of exciting previews within the trailer that hints at gameplay and customization features.

The trailer features a created player with the universal nickname, Mac. This is much like the NBA 2K career where the created player has a default nickname. The trailer follows Mac through various courses and highlights the Korn Ferry Tour, the Genesis Invitational, and the John Deere Classic.

Mac faces off against cover athlete Justin Thomas in a heated battle throughout the tour, which may have a dynamic storyline attached to the rivalry. The career mode also appears to have deep customization options including a wide range of golf club brands and models, which appear to have different stats and a tier system with blue, purple, and gold labels. Most likely, as the story progresses, players will unlock better equipment and hopefully will not be based on too many microtransactions.

The trailer also reveals complex player customization including gender, builds, facial features, and clothing options from top brands. The PGA Tour 2K21 trailer is a mix of cinematics and gameplay footage, but looks visually appealing throughout. Various details such as a ball path through sand and even a quick look at a few odd kangaroos on the course prove that PGA Tour 2K21 will look stunning when released.

PGA Tour 2K21 is scheduled to release on August 21 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
