Harry Potter is one of the most popular characters in all of fiction. As such, he has become one of the favorite subjects for internet artists to create fan art. There are many great genres of fan art that Harry Potter is a part of, but perhaps the best kind is crossover fan art.
Playstation has remained an iconic gaming system since its debut nearly 20 years ago. From that time till now, there have been many iconic Playstation characters that have starred in there very own games on the system. Here are ten Playstation characters reimagined as Hogwarts students from the world of Harry Potter.
10 Hermione’s New Friend (by BubuCoy)
Of all of the fan art of Playstation characters at Hogwarts, Spyro is surprisingly the unanimous favorite character for fan artists to transport into the wizarding world. This is likely due to the fact that dragons are a big part of Harry Potter mythology and being a dragon, Spyro just seems to fit perfectly in this world.
Deviant art user bubuCoy imagined the small, purple dragon meeting the main characters of the Harry Potter series. It seems that Hermione and Spyro hit it off quite nicely, whereas Harry and Ron are a little more hesitant about the mysterious creature.
9 Crash Villains (by angelblood)
This next piece of fan art sorted the many enemies of Crash Bandicoot into their respective Hogwarts houses. N. Gin is in Gryffindor, N. Trophy is in Ravenclaw, N. Brio is in Hufflepuff and last but not least, Cortex is a member of the house Slytherin.
Fan artist angelblood clearly knows these villains well. Each one seems to have been perfectly placed into the perfect house that represents them. Only someone totally familiar and in love with the Crash Bandicoot series would be able to do this so well!
8 Harry’s Dragon Friend (by SoulEaterSaku90)
In this touching bit of artwork, the three main characters from the Harry Potter franchise appear to be either greeting or saying goodbye to their longtime dragon friend. Harry, Hermoine, Ron, and Spyro all seem to be crying out of happiness.
SoulEaterSaku90 decided to put some intense emotions into this artwork. That decision clearly paid off well. Because of it, this fan art stands above the rest as the most emotionally impactful piece on this list by a long shot.
7 Ratchet Potter (by LanaGakusei)
Playstation games have many great original characters and franchises, with one of the best being the Ratchet and Clank series. Deviantart user LanaGakusei chose one of the two titular characters, Ratchet, as a character to be transported into the wizarding world of Harry Potter.
LanaGakusei manages to capture the character of Ratchet excellently while also adding several Hogwarts elements to the character. Between the mandatory school outfit, wand and glasses, Ratchet is clearly meant to look like the famous wizard protagonist Harry Potter. In addition, he even has a small scar on his forehead that Harry had in his series of books and movies!
6 Harry’s New Steed (by Fil-de-Fer)
In this bit of fan art by Fil-de-fer, Spyro joined Hogwarts and became Harry’s most trusted companion. It appears as though this Spyro is much older than the character is typically depicted, given his massive increase in size.
Seeing Harry ride the character makes us wish there was a Spyro game out there featuring the character after he had grown into adulthood. If Harry had had such an ally during his adventures, his many magical enemies would not have lived for very long.
5 New Kid Vivi (by sam_fenntatistic)
A shy mage from the world of Final Fantasy, Vivi would feel right at home in the famous magical school of the wizarding world of Harry Potter. The talented fan artist sam_fenntastic was able to perfectly ground this popular Final Fantasy character into this new world.
It’s worth noting that out of all of the Playstation characters on this list, Vivi is the only one who’s more than just familiar with traditional magic. Because of this, he would be the most likely character to actually be accepted into Hogwarts!
4 Sleepy Spyro (by derkman)
In yet another crossover with the Playstation hero Spyro, it appears that the new student/mascot of Hogwarts has decided to take a long, well-earned nap. Artist derkman did an amazing job of capturing the many iconic aspects of both Spyro and the Harry Potter characters.
If these characters were to meet, it is likely that the slightly naive Ron would be the first one to approach Spyro. While there’s a good chance that he may be bitten, the characters would eventually go on to become close friends.
3 Kingdom Hearts At Hogwarts (by redRevolutionnaire)
Kingdom of Hearts is one of Playstation’s fan-favorite franchises that brings several different Disney properties together along with the classic Kingdom of Hearts main characters.
Artist redRevolutionnaire created a beautiful bit of fan art when he depicted the main characters from the video game series as students of Hogwarts. This piece just makes too much sense when you look at it, leading one to think that these characters may enroll themselves at the wizarding school sometime in the future.

In this cute little doodle, Spyro appears to be trying to cover up the fact that he set Ron Weasly on fire. This sort of confrontation dreamed up by CactusCowboyDan makes total sense for these characters.
If they were to ever meet in the movies, video games, or books, this is a likely scenario for these four characters’ first meeting. If only we had the chance to actually see it happen!
1 Elizabeth’s New Adventure (by daistaf)
No Playstation character has more of a love for the romanticism of adventure than Elizabeth from Bioshock: Infinite. In this piece by daistaf, Elizabeth is using her reality-altering abilities to visit another world as she has done dozens of times before. What’s unique about this time is that she’s visiting a world many fans of movies and literature are very aware of: the world of Harry Potter.
With Hogwarts in the background, the adventurous girl would no doubt take the opportunity to join the school in hopes of learning all there is to know about magic. Given her powerful reality-altering abilities, the heads of Hogwarts would no doubt let the girl in without question, probably hoping to study her gift.
