By the end of 2020, the PlayStation 5 will be on the market. Someone might want to inform Sony of that since as of right now, information about the next-gen console is sparse. Unlike its rival the Xbox Series X, gamers have no idea what the PS5 is even going to look like. The only element of its look Sony has revealed so far is its DualSense controller.
A change to the official PS5 website now has gamers hopeful and speculating, though. Info regarding the new console’s performance and releases has been added. The bullet points use phrases such as “lightning speed”, “stunning games”, and “breathtaking immersion”. Even though there is still nothing of any substance there or information that hasn’t already been released, it has got potential PS5 owners hopeful.
The update to the site has people thinking that a long-awaited announcement is coming soon — an announcement that will reveal what the PS5 looks like, what first-party games will be available on release day, and maybe even how much the console will cost. Sony and Microsoft continue to play chicken on that last one, but someone is going to have to buckle eventually.
