While Pokémon are known for competing in battles, they all don’t look like Machamps or Charizards. In fact, there are quite a few dainty Pokémon that many in the community consider to be the picture of elegance. These creatures often have elegant designs, but when thrown into a battle, they can do major damage to their opponents.
Frosmoth, for example, is an ice bug-type that is able to harness a long list of moves while looking like the winner of a Pokémon Contest. Since the very beginning of the series, there have been several designs that fall in the elegant category.
10 Frosmoth
Frosmoth is the evolved form of Snom, a Pokémon that a majority of fans consider to be rather cute. This Pokémon was introduced in the latest generation of games where its previous form can be found roaming around snowy areas. Frosmoth is a Pokémon that will only be available to trainers who level up their Snom at night.
The catch is that they have to have a high friendship level with the creature as well.
9 Milotic
Milotic is a Pokémon that evolves from the fish Feebas, who doesn’t really look cute or elegant in any way. In order to get a Milotic, though, a trainer must raise the Feebas to maximum beauty or trade a Feebas that is holding a Prism Scale, which can be found in Gen V and the later games.
Milotic is a water-type with the ability to appear in situations where the world or area around its lake is calm.
8 Hatterene
Hatterene is another newer Pokémon that was introduced in Gen VIII. Hatterene is the evolved form of Hatenna and Hattrem, which also have a cute design. Hatterena is a psychic Fairy-type that will be able to evolve once the player has leveled their Hattrem up to level 42 in the game.
Hatterene is one of the Pokémon in the game that has a Gigantamax form and is able to sense the emotions of others.
7 Mega Audino
While the regular form of Audino is already elegant on its own when it mega evolves, this trait is greatly increased. Mega Audino has a white color palette instead of a pink one, along with more frills and curls located around its body. Its personality doesn’t undergo a change, but its power is increased with the mega evolution.
So far, Mega Audino can only be seen in Gen VI, where players can get Audinite to cause it to mega evolve.
6 Dragonair
Dragonair is a Pokémon that comes from the very first generation of monsters and is the middle form of the Pokémon Dratini. Dratini will evolve into Dragonair at level 30, and Dragonair will be able to evolve into its final evolutionary form, Dragonite starting at level 55.
Dragonair has stayed a fan favorite throughout the years, and according to the Pokedex, it always exudes a gentle aura.
5 Aurorus
Aurorus is a fossil Pokémon that was introduced in Gen VI and is a rock ice-type. Aurorus evolves from the Pokémon Amaura at level 39, as long as the trainer is playing during the in-game night. It’s designed often leads new trailers to believe it is a fairy-type, especially after it’s first revived from the Sail Fossil.
Aurorus is said to have an extremely cold body in the series but a gentle nature that makes trainers love it.
4 Galarian Rapidash
A ton of Galarian forms were unveiled to fit better into the Sword and Shield region. Instead of the normal fire that its mane is made out of, it is replaced by a fluffy pink and blue mane that reaches to the floor. The Galarian Rapidash also has a horn coming out of its head and a pure white body.
The type of Rapidash is also changed to be a fire fairy-type; its personality is a bit more prideful than normal.
3 Ninetales
Ninetales was a Pokémon that has always been associated with beauty in both the games and the anime. Ninetales is the evolved form of the fire-type Pokémon Vulpix. In order to evolve Vulpix into Ninetales, trainers must get a hold of a firestone or an ice stone if it’s the Alolan variant.
Ninetales also has a mystical Pokédex entry that claims that it was made when nine saints morphed together.
2 Primarina
Primarina is the final form of the starter water-type from Gen VII. Primarina evolves from Brionne, who involves from Popplio at level 17. Primarina, like most starters, has higher stats than most normal Pokémon; it’s also worth noting that it’s not a dual-type like most final starter evolutions from previous gens.
The Pokedex also states that Primarina loves to put on a show while it’s battling and that it will sing in the arena.
1 Altaria
Altaria is a flying dragon-type from Gen III with great stats. It will evolve from its prior form Swablu once a trainer reaches level 35 and also has a mega evolution in Gen VII that can be obtained when the trainer receives an Altarianite. The Pokémon is said to have a soprano voice and loves to sing as it flies.
Altaria is also said to prefer sunny days and loves to blend in with the clouds when flying in the sky.
