Niantic has revealed a list of changes being made to Pokémon GO to make the game even easier to play from home, and eagle-eyed trainers have spotted something interesting.
Although Pokémon GO has been widely celebrated since its release, a couple of elements of the game have been criticized. Trainers who play the game alone have complained that certain elements just aren’t built for them in any way. The best example of that is Raid Battles, which are geared towards trainers playing in groups or in built-up areas.
Remote Raid Passes have helped that somewhat, and now trainers think they might have noticed another way in which Niantic is going to make Raids better for lone players. As part of a bumper news update by the developer, it was revealed that trainers will soon be able to invite friends, no matter where they are, to join them in Remote Raids.
It’s the yellow circle in the attached picture that has caught players’ attention, though. There is speculation that the circle with a number inside represents how many people are “interested” in joining the raid. That way, others can see if it’s worth joining too and everyone “interested” can check that there are enough people to take down what might be a Legendary Pokémon before spending a Raid Pass.
