The date for Pokémon GO’s July Community Day - which will be focusing on Gastly - has emerged. It’ll be taking place on July 19th from 11 AM until 5 PM in your own local time.
Gastly - a Ghost and Poison type Pokémon from Gen I’s Kanto Region - came second place in the recent Community Day poll, after Weedle won and subsequently had its own Community Day held in June. While it’s had featured days in the past, this’ll be the first Community Day for Gastly.
There will be some bonuses available on the day too, including a shorter distance to hatch eggs (lowered to a quarter of the usual amount) and the fact that incense activated during the event will last for three hours. More details around the event’s features can be found here.
Like with other recent Community Days, this one is of course also emphasizing the importance of adhering to the social distancing and other health-related protocols in your local area whilst partaking in the event.
